I enjoyed partying as much as the next girl. Drinking was fun with the right crowd, as long as I didn't get shitfaced to the point I wouldn't remember my whereabouts in the morning, that'd be bad.

I know because I've witnessed it first-handedly with Drew.

Naturally, I didn't want to go to the party. I wanted to stay home tonight with Drew and curl up in a tight ball in his arms, but he practically got on his two knees and begged me to go.

Our night of cuddling could wait until Saturday, I'd supposed.

Drew walked into my room while I was putting my makeup on. He was dressed in a black, long sleeve Nike shirt with a pair of tan khakis. His light brown hair was left untamed, but to the point he still looked irresistible.

"Hey, hot stuff." I turned around to throw a wink in his direction.

"Hey, Lainey, you almost ready?" Drew kicked his Vans off and flung himself onto my bed.

He always complains about how tired he is, but then insists on going out to parties every Friday night.

"Do I look like I'm almost ready?" I showed him my one eye with eyeliner applied and my sweatpants and t-shirt that belonged to Drew at one point.

Mine now though.

"Well, you're hot regardless of what you wear or how much makeup you're wearing."

He's such a charmer.

It's so hard to believe he's an asshole to every other soul he encounters.

"Alright..." I trailed off once I finished my other eyelid. "Ten minutes, then I'll be ready."

"Sounds good." I left Drew abandoned on my bed, probably minutes away from falling asleep, to go change.

I usually do just change in front of Drew, but my parents are actually home for the weekend and I'm not sure they would agree with that.

My outfit consisted of a pair of high-waisted, holy, light wash skinny jeans and a black v-neck tank top. Heels would've pulled the outfit together, but I knew I wouldn't want to wear those all night so I slipped on flip flops, unbothered by the cold winter air I was about to encounter.

When I entered my room again, I wasn't surprised to see Drew passed out on my bed. I pulled my parka off the hanger next to my door and tossed my hairbrush over at Drew. He stirred to his left side to look at me tiredly.

"Damn, Lainey," he whistled. "Looking good."

"Let's get this show on the road." I took his arm in my hand and attempted to pull him off my bed. Being the giant he is, I think it's fair to say that didn't work out in my favor. He ended up pulling me on top of him.
