Small talk

        Jungkook offered Jimin's father to sit by the low wooden table on the comfortable cushions. "Mr. Park, may I offer you some tea?"

          "No thankyou, Jungkook." Mr. Park walked over to the cushions and sat down folding his arms. "Traditional, I see."

        Jungkook was feeling uneasy, the man felt as if he already did something wrong! "Mr. Park, what did you want to tell me?" Jungkook enquired walking to the kitchen to make plum tea for the guest.

            "It's about Jimin." Mr. Park retorted.

          Jungkook had a rush of guilt flowing in him... Mr. Park seemed unpleased! Jungkook took his time in silence preparing the plum tea for the father. Just as Jungkook finished brewing the tea, Mr. Park finally spoke up.

            "Is it Yuja tea?" Mr. Park asked.

           "N-no sir.. It's plum tea." Jungkook replied already holding the white mug filled with the plum tea.

          "Oh, that's a shame. I would have enjoyed some Yuja tea." Mr. Park claimed.

          "Would you want me to brew you some? I can run to the store right now." Already feeling desperate, Jungkook was ready to run off and get the Yuja marmalade to make Jimin's father happy.

             "No it's fine, please sit." Mr. Park stated while Jungkook nodded walking over to the table to join Mr. Park and hand his cup of tea to the older adult with two hands formally. "Thankyou." Mr. Park thanked Jungkook.

            "You're welcome." Jungkook sat down and faced the elder.

          "Jimin... Are you in a relationship with Jimin? My son?" Mr. Park asked so suddenly leaving Jungkook silent for a split second.

      "No.." Jungkook answered.

         "I saw him with you... In bed as you took pictures of him." Mr. Park claimed taking a sip of the plum tea. "Not such a nice way to find out about something, is it?"

            "No... Sir, you have it all wrong. That wasn't Jimin.. It was my... B-boyfriend.." Jungkook lied feeling the eyes of the elder choke him and make him want to speak truthfully. Mr. Park had this scary effect on others, no wonder he worked well in buisness when it came to negotiating.

             "Was Jimin here yesterday?" the father asked.

         "...No." Jungkook lied again but managed to keep a blank stare. "My boyfriend was here.. All day."

          "Jungkook, I don't think you can leave those curtains open from your window. Imagine if Jimin was to see that? Please handle that with the curtains closed. I don't want Jimin to be scarred for life." Mr. Park looked at the beverage. "I still see him so purely.. But after I looked out the window to see that.. I thought I saw Jimin."

           "I'm sorry you had to see that sir.. I will keep my curtains closed."

           "Thankyou." Mr. Park smiled. "Do you take any good photos other than you're boyfriend? Like nature?"

          "Hmm, I do. Let me bring them to you!" Jungkook stood up as Mr. Park shook his head.

          "It's fine, please sit. I was only asking." Mr. Park responsed as Jungkook sat down again on the floor cushion.

         "Tatami mat and all. Very traditional, Jeon Jungkook." The father commented smiling into his cup of hot plum tea. Jungkook expected Mr. Park to still question him... However, what he didn't know was that Mr. Park wasn't going to agree so suddenly... If Jungkook's so called 'boyfriend' was the one that Jungkook took pictures of, Mr. Park wanted to see. The father always had a problem with believing people so easily.. He wanted evidence.

            After, Mr. Park finished his tea, Jungkook picked up the empty cup of plum tea. "Thankyou for having a word with me.. Mr. Park."

           "It's nothing. I really want to see Jimin become the best so If you were with Jimin.. I wouldn't allow it. I want my son to be better at all of these things.. I want him to be successful.. and amazing. Do you know how long it took for me to allow that little dream of his? It took a lot of convincing but soon when he almost gave in, I allowed it."

         "That's well of you... I want to teach Jimin well on dancing.. When he comes over to practice, I make sure he does enough exercises to get him places."

           "What you can do is help him get better and when the time comes for him to finish the final lessons, you can sign him up to an entertainment buisness." Mr. Park proposed.

         "You know... I never noticed that.. I'll do it. Just to make the boy happy." Jungkook claimed. He was soon going to look into the idea and help Jimin so he can chase after his passion. This news was too exciting so keeping it a secret from the boy seemed like a better Idea. Jungkook wanted to surprise Jimin and was willing to get him there.
