The gap

            Yoongi waited holding up a phone to his ear to listen to his phone when he called Hoseok. The phone ringed for a long time until Yoongi heard his voice.

          "Hi! I'm YOUR HOPE I'm YOUR ANGEL I'M J-HOPE!!! And I'm busy at the moment so please leave your message after the beep." The voicemail left a beep as Yoongi hanged up to feeling upset close to crying... He hid in his tough shell and was sensitive on the inside.

         Yoongi waited for Hoseok's text... He waited.. waited.. And waited but no response, just how hard Hoseok was working to come back to Yoongi?

          Meanwhile, Hoseok was working as a cashier at a fast food place. Hoseok was busy working to take a glance at the phone, if he did, the customers will call him lazy.

           At the end of the day, the only person who popped into Hoseok's mind was Yoongi. He checked his notifications to see his Yoongi has sent messages... Hoseok sighed and only hesitated to answer.. It wasn't only because he had no time.. only since he actually had his moments when he thought this was wrong. Hoseok was only 25 and Yoongi was 17 and still in school, the man thought Yoongi was only kidding when he said he wanted something special with the adult. Normally, teens Yoongi's age would go for people who are in the same age group or close to the age group.. But he chose Hoseok.

           Hoseok feared being thought of a guy who was in a pure and innocent relationship with a teen... Sure Yoongi was over the age of consent, but Hoseok still thought he was getting too old for him (even if they were eight years apart) this wasn't an issue, most people have a ten year age gap! But Hoseok wasn't use to this... It was like having a younger brother.. Or even a son! But Hoseok still loved Yoongi the same way he did before.

           Hoseok checked the messages and sighed. He dialed Yoongi's number after his shift and was standing there at the fast food place after closing hours. He rested his arms on the black counter next to the cash register while holding up the phone to his ear, waiting for an answer.

            Yoongi heard the phone downstairs at the living room and quickly made his way to it nearly stumbling on the way there! "Y-yes? Hoseok!! You called!!"

          Hoseok found himself making a smile just hearing Yoongi's happy voice. "Hi Yoongi, what do you need?"

          "I wanted to talk to you about this..." Yoongi had to take a seat. "I-I'm just going to say something.. I feel we don't text much.. We weren't happy from being far away and that only pulled us far apart.. Please don't go any day without telling me about how your day went.. And how special we are together.."
 
         Hoseok couldn't take it anymore.. He was lying only because he grew insecure of this. "Yoongi... I-I lied.." Hoseok confessed as Yoongi suddenly thought he was with someone else!.

          "Y-you cheated on me?" Yoongi asked as Hoseok quickly shook his head through the phone.

          "No! It's not that... The reason why I haven't been responding to you was because.. I felt this was was weird..." Hoseok confessed.

          "This is weird to you?"

          "Yes.. But I wil get use to it! I swear."

         Yoongi sighed. "You know what makes me feel weird about this? We are supposedly dating.. But we don't talk to eachother.. We don't even look at eachother everyday!" Yoongi claimed. "I miss you.."

           "I miss you too.. And I love you but please hold on there.. I'll make sure we meet! I promise!"

          "Hoseok... Don't feel weird around me. You end up ignoring me..and hurting me more.." Yoongi claimed.

       "I'm sorry.. I-" Hoseok sighed. "I'll call you later, I have to end my shift." Hoseok lied as Yoongi believed him.

          "Mm..okay.." Yoongi smiled and hung up as Hoseok did the same but he ran his hands through his hair in guilt for just lying.

           "Just a few more.. Then I'll be ready to see you..." Hoseok claimed. The man still felt bad that he ignored Yoongi after all this time only because the age gap scared him. What did he do to deserve someone so funny and amazing like Min Yoongi?

          At Yoongi's house, Yoongi opened his laptop and went online to see the cost of traveling to Gwangju. Secretly, Yoongi couldn't wait any longer.. He needed to see Hoseok again and didn't want to give up on what he hoped for, even if that meant leaving his home to venture out and surprise Hoseok.
