Izuku and Hitoshi walked into daycare together, their mothers waved them off before heading home.
"Sit by me Toshichan!" Izuku said, "We need to work on a new book!"
"I'm sure Aizawa-san won't keep your book forever Izu-chan." Hitoshi old him.
"I know, but I don't mind if he keeps it, we should remake it together, put all our favorite heroes in. Look what my mom brought me!" Izuku brought out a brand new notebook. "We can start over, both us, and we can start with you're quirk!"
"My quirk...but, I'm not a hero," Hitoshi muttered.
"But you have a really cool quirk, Toshichan!" Izuku smiled. Hitoshi smiled in reply, the two boys went over to a table to start their work. The teacher looked towards the two boys and smiled, Shinso-san had said that Hitoshi would feel at ease if he was allowed to stay close to Izuku, seeing how they were close friends already. However, there was one person who wasn't pleased, Bakugo Katsuki. He had been Izuku's friend the longest and was clearly annoyed that Izuku had completely blanked him as he ran off to work with Hitoshi. He glared at them, Izuku was his friend, and he was quirkless. Why was he so happy when he was quirkless and useless? Bakugo growled, that stupid Deku!

"Principle?" Aizawa entered the office of Yuuei's principle. Yuuei was the top hero school, each teacher was a pro-hero, the principle wasn't an exception, but was a hero unlike any other. Principle Nezu was the only animal in the world known to have a quirk. High spec, it gave him immense brainpower, when he was first discovered humans had experimented on him many times, and most of the time it was not humane. However, he had not held it against the race as a whole and now worked at the school helping the next generation of heroes. This was who Aizawa knew may be able to help him.
"Ah, Aizawa-sensei. I must say your call surprised me, but I am happy to help." Nezu had his usual smile in place, he sat on a safe with a pot of tea set out on the table. "Now, please sit and tell me about what this is all about."
"I needed your opinion on this. Ignore the writing and pictures, please concentrate on the notes themselves." Aizawa handed him the notebook. Nezu took it and looked through each page.
"Well, whoever wrote this has fantastic analysis skills." Nezu said, "Everything they have written on the hero's quirks seems to be correct."
"They were written by a 4-year-old boy, deemed to be quirkless. He has only ever seen videos of these heroes, either online or the news." Aizawa told him. "Which is why I needed to show you, is it still possible the boy has a quirk, but one more like yours than most humans." Nezu continued to look down at the notes. "You're the only one I know of that has a quirk that boosts intelligence. Most quirks have some clear effect, like how my eyes go red. Your quirk is a boost on intelligence..."
"It is possible. Humans were never able to find anything in me that showed I had a quirk, that could have been because my quirk effects my mental power instead of physical power or giving me a physical power to use." Nezu said, he smiled. "This quirkless boy, I would like to meet him." Aizawa nodded.
"I'll speak to his mother." Aizawa nodded.
~~~~~
"Oi, Deku!" Bakugo yelled, their daycare had ended and the children were playing outside whilst waiting for their parents. Izuku flinched slightly at the name, but turned to Bakugo.
"Hi Kacchan..." He muttered, he was beginning to feel bad about ignoring Kacchan all day because he was spending time with Toshichan.
"Why have you been ignoring me, Deku? You're so useless!" Bakugo told him. Before Izuku could reply, Hitoshi too his hand. Izuku glanced at him.
"Izu-chan...who is he?" He asked
"Oh, Toshichan, this is Kacchan..." Izuku introduced them. "Kacchan is a friend."
"Yeah, I'm his friend, so back off!" Bakugo demanded, explosions erupted in his hand. Hitoshi glanced at Bakugo's hands before looking at Izuku.
"But, Izu-chan... a friend wouldn't speak to you like that." Hitoshi frowned, "Only a bully will..."
"Toshichan..." Izuku glanced at Bakugo, before smiling and looking back at Hitoshi. "Right! Then let's go and play over there! We need to decide what heroes to put in the book next! I definitely want to add Eraserhead-san!" Izuku began to lead Hitoshi away from Bakugo.
"Yeah! And All Might, oho, what about Endeavour! And Present Mic!" Hitoshi replied excitedly. Shinso-san appeared a few minutes later, the boys ran over to her.
"Hey, Izuku-kun, your mama has some guests waiting for you, so I promised to pick you up today." Shinso-san smiled. "Is that okay?"
"Yes, Shinso-san, who's your favourite hero?" Izuku asked as they began to walk home.
"Well, I am quite fond of Ectoplasm," Shinso-san told him.
"Ectoplasm so cool, his clones are cool!" Hitoshi gasped, Izuku nodded enthusiastically. Bakugo watched them go, explosions going off in his hands once more - Stupid Deku.
Once home, Izuku and Hitoshi rushed into the kitchen, but found themselves stopping at the door. Aizawa-san and Midoriya-san looked down at the boys, but their eyes were locked on to the second guest. Nezu got down from his chair and smiled at them.
"Shinso Hitoshi and Midoriya Izuku, I have been waiting for you." Nezu smiled. "It's nice to meet you." The boys continued to look at him in surprise.
