"Toshichan!" Izuku had run down to greet hi, just before the final match.

"Izuchan, I can't believe it... The final... me" Hitoshi smiled, brimming with excitement.

"Either way, you are in the top three. They should move you up, no complaints." Izuku told him.

"we are celebrating tonight!" Hitoshi grinned.

"Oh count on it." Izuku nodded. Hitoshi headed to the field whilst Izuku returned to his Class.

~~~~~~
The match went as expected. Todoroki had quickly figured that Hitoshi needed to speak to someone directly to be able to use his quirk. But, Hitoshi had put up a good fight, but ultimately lost. But, he wasn't too upset about it. After he shook Todoroki's hand, thanking him for the match.
~~~~~~

"Now, let's move on to the Awards ceremony!" Midnight announced. Izuku stood next to Bakugo in third place, Hitoshi in second and Todoroki in first. "For the medals, presenting them this year is... you know who!"

All Might landed before them, Izuku could hear the muttering of the other pro heroes.

"Bakugo, you fought well. Congratulations. But, you shouldn't solely focus on your quirk." All Might put the medal over his head, Bakugo grumbled something under his breathe, he was going to be pissed off for a while, Izuku could tell that much. "Midoriya, you truly showed the world you are here, fantastic work in the festival."

"Thank you." Izuku nodded, he smiled down at his own medal as All Might moved over to Hitoshi.

"Shinso Hitoshi, Your were pitted against those from the hero course and came through fighting. Well done." All Might presented him the silver medal. "You will make a fine hero one day." Hitoshi nodded, holding back his own tears of joy. Finally, All Might stood before Todoroki. "And young Todoroki, I sense you have changed since the start of this festival."

"My match with Midoriya... He helped me remember what I was working for, why I decided to come here." Todoroki smiled slightly.

"Keep making some good friends. Congratulations on winning." All Might nodded. He turned to the crowd. "THESE ARE YOUR WINNERS! BUT HOLD ON EVERYONE! EVERYONE HERE TODAY HAS THE POTENTAIL TO BE STANDING UP HERE, AS YOU ALL WITNESSED. COMPETITION! ENCOURAGEMENT! PUSHING EACH OTHER TO CLIMB HIGHER AND HIGHER. THE SPROUTS OF TODAY WILL GROW INTO THE HEROES OF TOMORROW. IN THAT SPIRIT. LET'S HAVE ONE FINAL CHEER!, EVERYONE SAY IT WITH ME!! ONE, TWO, THREE...."

"PLUS ULTRA!" Cheered the crowed.

"THANKS FOR THE HARD WORK!" All Might Cheered, Izuku found himself grinning.

~~~~~~
They were give the next two days off, and Aizawa told them they would have scouting offers when they got back. Izuku and Hitoshi were joined by most of 1-A as they left the grounds.
"So, what's everyone planning to do with their days off?" Izuku asked
"I am going to visit my mom again, he said she was going to watch the Sports Festival." Todoroki was the first to reply.
"Say hi to her for me." Izuku smiled. Everyone else shared their plans, then said bye until they had their next class.
~~~~~~

When Hitoshi and Izuku got home, they were hugged by their mothers, the Yuuei staff came over later that evening to join in the celebration. Yamada hugged the two of them, and Nezu did inform Hitoshi that they were reviewing the heroic course students now, if one was doing badly or just messing around, he would be replacing them, moving into the heroes course.

~~~~~~
Todoroki  headed out to the hospital the day following the Sports festival. He couldn't wait to speak to her again.
"Mother." He said entering her room, Todoroki-san turned and smiled at her son. She got to her feet and pulled him into a hug.
"Congratulations." She said in a soft voice. "You did so well."
"Thanks to Midoriya... I had forgotten why I entered Yuuei. He helped remind me." Todoroki smiled.
"Midoriya, that green haired boy with curly hair?" Todoroki-san sat down again, Todoroki sat across from her.
"Yes, I learnt last night he ended up confronting... dad about it." Todoroki said, his mother watched him. "He stood up for me, for us..."
"He's the friend you brought last time, isn't he?" Todoroki-san asked
"Yeah, he's the only one who knows what he's really like." Todoroki nodded. Todoroki-san smiled at her son, he was still the sweet boy from all those years ago. He had found his own hero to help him out of the shadow his own father had cast over him. The boy, Midoriya Izuku, she was curious about him. One day, she would like to meet him, but she knew the hospital would be a bit unsure about it. She would have to wait.
"You'll be doing your work placement soon, won't you?" She asked.
"Oh, yeah. We've been give two days off. We should be getting the things for it when we get back." Todoroki nodded.
"Looking forward to it?" She smiled.
"I guess, I am mor worried about who I should choose to go with." Todoroki frowned. "Midoriya told me to expect a lot of offers. But, I don't think I will get as many as him."
"Well, I know you will know the right place to go." Todoroki-san smiled. "And when I am a bit etter, I need to meet this friend of yours, so I can thank him in person."
"thank him?" Todoroki repeated.
"He helped bring us abck together, didn't he?" Todoroki-san smiled, Todoroki nodded. "then, I must thank him, for giving me this second chance to have you in my life." Todoroki hugged her.
"I want to help you get out of here." Todoroki told her. "I want to save you from this place. He saved me from my prison, so I shall save you from yours."
"My hero." Todoroki-san whispered. She needed to thank the boy who gave her this chance to live again, to be a mother again.
