Part Fourteen

     "And where the hell have you been?" Baily says coldly as Shay and I get inside my room. Baily leans against the door frame and stares at us. I know I should apologize to her for treating her like shit.

    "Bails? I... I am really sorry for treating you the way I did." The words taste bitter but I am attempting ti salvage our relationship. She looks startled.

     "Forgive me cuz?" I smile and hold out my arms to her. her facial features soften and she pulls me into a hug.

     "Forgive me too?" She says smiling at me. I nod and hug her tightly again. And at once all is right with the the world. Shay runs over and we all group hug. Beat of friends like we always have been.

     Instantly, I know we have to get Baily and Michael back together. My mind quickly begins to formulate a plan.

     "So, you ready to see your boy friend again? " I smile devilishly at my cousin who nods vigorously.

     "Bur how? I will get caught or some shit." She says worrying, "I have never snuck out before guys." she says, biting her lip like she does when she is freaking out internally. Shay and I exchange a nod.

     "Baily, you remember when we taught you how to swear?" She says casually. Baily nods.

     "Well this is just like that." shay says, flashing us both devilish grins.

     "So, what's the plan?" Baily says, finally catching on.

     "We go to their concert tonight. We stay at Shays house. We live the rest of the summer like this. And at the end, we all go to college and forget this summer. Its our last chance to do something crazy." I say excitedly. The girls look at me and smile and nod. I pushed my own anxiety back for this. I am willing tto risk anything for Luke.

     "Go grab clothes! We have a long night!" Shay squeals.

I smile and begin putting some clothes in my duffle.

This summer would be one to remember.
