Nathan Jones

Scene 11 "Who Is Kevin?"

Everyone makes their way to the kitchen. In the kitchen, everyone sits at the table while Nathan, Megan, and Andy begin talking all at once. Anna and Henry tell them to speak one at a time.

Nathan Jones- "Mom, when we were at the hospital to get Andy, Miss. Rebel had this sand power..."

{Present day}

Mr. Night- "So you expect me to believe that you have magic powers and you have a magic girlfriend? Please tell me, what drugs are you on? I'd like to know."

Mr. Night looks at Nathan in disbelief. Nathan sits up and struggles to break the cuffs while talking to the man. Mr. Night gets up and walks over to the video camera and turns it off before walking back to Nathan. He gets in Nathan's face.

Mr. Night- "Now you're going to tell me the truth or I'm going to do plan B, and trust me plan B is much worse than what I'm treating you with."

Mr. Night pulls out a gun from his holster and places it on the table in front of Nathan. On the other side of the glass, General Thorn sleeps on a chair while the man with the frozen face kept staring at Nathan. Mr. Night walks back to his seat and sits down leaving the gun sitting there.

Nathan Jones- "May I continue, Mr. Snob?"

Mr. Night- "You may. Truth only."

Nathan Jones- "Now as I was saying..."

{1984}

Nathan Jones- "Mom, when we were at the hospital to get Andy, Miss. Rebel had these sand powers. She tried to kill us."

Megan begins talking as Henry and Anna look at her.

Megan Topps- "Then Andy woke up and he set her and the hospital on fire without touching her."

Anna sits there in disbelief as Andy looks at his hands, his veins in his hands began turning red with a yellow tint. Anna looks at the three teenagers.

Anna Jones- "I don't buy it. (Looks at Henry) Do you?"

Henry Jordans- (Standing up) "Not one bit. I think you three need to go to the police and... (Sees Andy getting up)"

Henry stops talking, as Andy stands up and goes to the cupboard and grabs a bowl. He walks over to the other end of the kitchen and grabs the charcoal bag from under the sink, reaching in he pulls out one block of charcoal and places it in the bowl. Nathan, Megan, Anna, and Henry look at him as he clicks his finger and a flame sits on his pointer finger. Anna and Henry look on with wonder and horror on their faces. He places his hand in the bowl setting the charcoal on fire, bringing his hand back out while sitting down with a smirk on his face. Anna and Henry look at them with shock on their faces.

Nathan Jones- (Standing up) "Is that enough proof?"

Megan and Andy stand up with Nathan about to leave the kitchen when Henry stands up and starts talking.

Henry Jordans- "Nathan wait. (Nathan, Megan, and Andy stop and look at him) We should have listened to you, but we didn't. Nathan... Megan... Andy, you three were given a gift from God for a reason, I'm sorry I didn't listen."

Nathan nods as Megan lets the ponytail out of her hair, Andy looks at Henry as the color of his eyes began changing to a deep shade of orange.

Anna Jones- (stands up) "Wait! If you guys do have powers then what are they? I mean we've seen Andy's, but Megan. What's yours and Nathan's?"

Megan moves her hands at the chairs and tips them upside down onto the table. Anna and Henry turnaround in awe as the chairs lye upside down on the table.
