Scene 18 "Final Frontier PT.2"

{Present day}

Mr. Night sits at the table about to fall asleep, as Nathan continues trying to break the cuffs. Nathan takes notice of Mr. Night about to fall asleep and begins mocking him. He looks at Mr. Night with anger on his face.

Nathan Jones- (Pulls the cuffs) "Sir if you're going to sleep can I at least have the keys to the cuffs?"

Mr. Night sits up wiping the drool from his lip and his sleeve, he rubs his eyes while looking at Nathan. Nathan stands up still trying to break the cuffs.

Nathan Jones- (Pulling the cuffs) "Weren't you listening to a single word I was saying?"

Mr. Night- (Tired) "Yeah, you said something about your girlfriend getting sucked into the sand monster and you got pissed."

Nathan sits back down and gives up on trying to break the cuffs as he looks in disappointment, as Mr. Night tries looking awake.

Nathan Jones- "Close enough, anyway let me continue. (Points at Mr. Night) Stay awake now."

{1984}

Nathan screams in pain as Andy strikes up the flames on his palms. Psycho Sand drops Nathan as he starts crawling with his one arm and legs towards Andy. Psycho Sand grabs his legs and begins pulling Nathan as he tries grabbing onto the ground in fear. Psycho Sand lifts him up, Nathan now upside down while looking at Andy than to Psycho Sand as the blood from his arm continues dripping. Seeing the pile of sand opens up seeing Megan sitting in a nest of sand endlessly crawling her way to the opening, Nathan pulls the ice-ax out of his body in desperation, blood drips off of it hitting the ground. Nathan begins trying to line the shot with a blurry vision he throws it, slicing through the sand nest, Psycho Sand screams in pain as the ax goes through the sand pile, she drops Nathan as she screams. The sand falls to the ground not reforming with the pile, Megan crawls out taking notice.

Megan Topps- "Nathan, the sand didn't rejoin with the rest. Do it again."

Megan gets up off of the ground and runs to Andy while Nathan gets off of the ground holding his chest where the ax was while running. Psycho Sand grabs his legs again, pulling Nathan back towards her, she places him upside down again shaking him. When she stopped shaking him, Nathan lowers his one hand as Megan kicks the other ax at him, Nathan looks back as he catches it. Psycho Sand pulls him closer to her face.

Psycho Sand- "I never liked you. Now die, just like your mother did... you sniveling little prick."

Nathan's vision begins to go blurry, he turns his head trying to look at Andy he shouts.

Nathan Jones- (Shouting) "Andy any time now would be great."

Sparks flicker from Andy's hands as he places the palms on top of each other, he rubs them together then begins pulling them apart as a fireball formed in his hand. Andy throws it as Psycho Sand as she throws Nathan towards the edge of the building. Everything slows down as the fireball hits Psycho Sand in the chest, Nathan throws his ax at Psycho Sand as she becomes a towering statue of glass. Nathan flies off of the building as the ax hits and goes through Psycho Sand's chest. The ax gets stuck in a nearby vent. Megan turns around to catch Nathan, but the mist doesn't form from her arms, she tries over and over again until she hears a male's voice.

Male voice- (Evilly) "No."

Megan begins looking around for the man that spoke to her, but all she sees is Andy. Megan and Andy begin climbing down from the tower of sand while it begins falling. The Chief stands up catching his breath while Henry comes out from the door on the roof staggering while looking for Nathan, after a while of not seeing him he walks over to Megan and Andy who sit and stare off of the building's edge at Nathan's body lying on the ground. After a moment Megan runs towards the fire escape alongside the building as everyone else follows closely behind her, they get on the ground only to see Nathan's body covering itself in thick black ice. The chief walks up behind them holding Nathan's ice-axes. A crowd of people stood around them, the cameraman and reporter load up their van and drive away.

Megan Topps- (Tears up) "Nathan? Nathan? (Cries) Nathan."

Henry and the Chief kneel down and hug her as Andy sits and looks at his best friend's lifeless body being covered by ice.

{Washington D.C.}

President Reagan stands at a podium with the block of ice Nathan was in on the center of a statue surrounded by ropes and a plaque. The plaque read "Here lies the Frost Devil, Nathan Aaron Jones. R.I.P 1967- 1984. You will be missed." Megan and Andy stand in the front of a crowd of people with tears falling from their faces, the President tells them to go say one final goodbye. As Megan and Andy walk behind the ropes, Megan places his axes on the ground while Andy places the Walkman at the foot of the statue. Andy and Megan place their hands on the icy tomb as the male's voice can be heard in their heads.

Male voice- (Evilly) "You will do too."

Megan, while crying, begins turning into a cloud of purple mist and begins to get sucked into one of Nathan's axes while Andy turns into a massive flame then into smog, he gets sucked into Nathan's other ax. The crowd of people back up and look on in worry, Henry heard the male voice in his head.

Male voice- "He'll be fine."

Henry looks around seeing nobody around him, everyone that was around him was gone and the moon was high in the sky. Henry begins walking away in the dark of night.
