Nathan Jones

Scene 19 "Father figure"

{Present day}

Nathan looks down at the table with tears running down his face. He just sat there not caring about the cuffs anymore, Mr. Night looks at him with disbelief.

Nathan Jones- (Tear run down his face) "That's all I remember. I just wish I could have saved Andy and Megan. (To self) I'm sorry guys."

Mr. Night stands up and makes his way to the door only to stop when hearing a knock on the glass. Nathan looks up as Mr. Night heads back to his seat and sits down while looking at the window.

Mr. Night- "Well Mr. Jones if you have these (Makes quote marks with hands) powers. Why don't you demonstrate them for me? If you can."

Nathan looks at Mr. Night with a concerned look on his face. He looks down at the center of the table.

Nathan Jones- (Sad) "I can't."

Mr. Night- "You can't? (Nathan stares at the table) What do you mean you can't? You just said you had powers now show me."

Nathan barges out of his seat knocking his chair over, he begins angrily pulling on the handcuffs.

Nathan Jones- (Angry) "I said I can't, I've been trying this whole time. I've tried breaking the cuffs without you knowing. (Calmly) If I wanted to freeze the cuffs I would've already have done it."

Mr. Night stands up about to punch Nathan until Frost enters the room. Nathan and Mr. Night stand to lean towards each other and stare at the man in the doorway. Frost was holding Nathan's ice-axes and a pair of blue lens goggles. He closed the door behind him as he entered the room, he stared at Nathan not taking his eyes off of him. Mr. Night steps back and moves away from his chair as Frost takes his seat at the table. Nathan uses his leg to kick his chair up, he sits in it looking at Frost.

Nathan Jones- (Wiping tears on the sleeve) "Who the hell are you? (Looks at the axes) And why do you have my axes?"

Frost looks at Nathan for a bit, observing him in every way before placing the axes on the table then crosses his arms while sitting back in his chair the speaks.

Frost - "I'll tell you, only if you can show me your powers and prove that what you're saying is true."

Nathan hears the male voice in his head.

Male voice- "I give back what's yours."

Nathan looks at his hands then to his axes than to Frost and back to his hands with a smirk on his face. Nathan aims his right hand at the chain holding him to the table, he stares at them for a moment before trying. After a moment a large burst of frost came from his hand hitting the chain and freezing it, Nathan pulls up breaking the chain. As the chain breaks Nathan jumps up onto the table, knocking over the chair, and grabs one of the axes from the table and aims it at frost's throat with his eyes frosted over. Mr. Night aims his gun at Nathan.

Nathan Jones- "Now... tell me who you are and where I am, and I might let you live."

Frost doesn't flinch and begins moving the ax away from his neck with his hand while speaking. Mr. Night shakes his gun while aiming it at Nathan, Nathan looks over at the man then back to Frost.

Frost- (Calmly) "It's me son. It's your dad, your real dad."

Both Nathan and Mr. Night look at him in shock. Behind the window, General Thorn and other men look at the window with jaws dropped. "So that's why he needed the kid," Thorn said. Mr. Night puts his gun away slowly as Nathan backs up to the other end of the table.

K.J- "It's me... K.J. Kevin, but you can call me dad."

Nathan backs off of the table slowly while looking at him in confusion, his eyes defrost over while he looks at the man calling himself K.J.
