Nathan Jones

Scene 14 "The change"

At the old hospital Psycho Sand passes back and forth while looking at a clock that hung on the wall. She looks at Henry who was chained to a wall next to a charred opening Andy made, he had cuts on his face, arms, and legs. His eye was black from Psycho Sand and his words came out very choppy.

Henry Jordans- (To himself with worry) "Where are you, Nathan?"

Psycho Sand- (Evilly) "Your boy Nathan only has forty-five minutes left, if he doesn't make it (Walks up to Henry) then you can kiss your life goodbye."

She turned around and began walking away, as she leaves the room Henry began tearing up in worry while looking at the clock.

Henry Jordans- (Spits out blood) "Come on Nathan."

At the police station, Nathan and Andy sit in the locker room while other officers change into their uniforms and put on bulletproof vests. The chief walks in as some officers leave the room laughing, the chief sits down next to them.

Chief- "Mr. Jones, our forensics team made a suit for you while you were on your way here. Now, remember we really didn't have much time to make them, so you're just going to have to work with what we have."

A male Forensics scientist walks over to the chief and hands him a bag with clothes in it.

Chief- "They were specially made for you. You know, so you don't freeze them."

Nathan Jones- (Looks at the chief in confusion) "What do you mean? (Looks at Andy) What does he mean?"

Andy Rod- "Nathan, you asked for them. Don't you remember?"

Nathan Jones- (Shakes his head) "Oh yeah, thanks."

Chief- (Places hand on Nathan's shoulder) "You're nervous, aren't you kid?"

Nathan sits there for a moment while looking at the ground, he looks back up at the chief while Andy looks at them.

Nathan Jones- "I've never had to fight someone, especially if it meant life or death."

The chief sits there and looks at him with a pale look on his face, Andy tries to look into the bag as Nathan pulls it away from him.

Chief- "It ain't easy kid, I've been on this force for eighteen years and there isn't a night I don't go home and think about the victims I've had to take away from this world. (Stands up) It's for your father- in law, you might want to think about that... it might help. (Goes to walk away but turns around and looks at Nathan) Nathan (Nathan looks at him) please stop freezing our bench."

Nathan looks down at the bench in amazement, he begins to juggle his words with a smile on his face. Nathan looks back up.

Nathan Jones- (In a joyful tone) "I can freeze things? That's awesome!"

The chief looks at him again with a concerned look on his face, Nathan sees this, "Sorry, I just got a little excited and forgot I could do that." He said.

Chief- "You'd better change if you're going to beat some Psycho Sandy ass."

Nathan looks down at the bag sitting on the floor next to him. He takes the bag and looks inside it, nodding his head in confidence. He looks back up at Andy than the chief.

Nathan Jones- "Oh, yeah. I'm in."

The chief stands up with a smile on his face, as he stands up the scientist whispers in his ear and hands him another bag.

Chief- "Mr. Rod, I have one for you too, unfortunately."

The chief hands the bag to Andy. Andy grabs the bag and looks inside, grinning as he looks up, he pulls out a black hoodie and black fingerless gloves. Andy looks at the chief with anger on his face, the chief looks back at him with a smirk.

Chief- "What? They were made on short notice and they're fireproof. You can't go wrong. (Scientist hands Nathan a pair of metal ice axes) We those are made of titanium, (Jokes) try not to break them we found them in the evidence room. Whelp I better get going so you three can save the world."

As the Chief, scientist, and the rest of the officers leave the locker room Nathan and Andy begin changing. Nathan reaches into the bag and pulls out a pair of blue jeans, a camouflage ice blue hoodie, a pair of winter boots, and a pair of white finger-less mittens. Nathan changes as well do Andy.
