Nathan Jones

Scene 13 "The Lost"

In the abandoned building Megan makes her way to the room with her suitcase. She begins looking through it trying to find the photo of her and her parents after she throws everything onto the bed she stands up in a panic thinking some kids took it. Megan looks around the room seeing the hole in the wall, she sat there looking at the wall knowing kids couldn't do that. She began thinking, she looked around the room for her photo. She stops when looking at the barrel with charred wood. Megan walks over to it seeing the photo covered in ashes, pulling the photo out of the barrel she begins seeing the memory of Miss. Rebel grabbing onto the photo. Megan drops it and looks at it for a moment wondering how she did that, she bends down grabbing the photo out of the frame and begins running out of the building.

{Hospital}

At the hospital, Anna lies in a bed with a heart monitor beeping to her heart. Doctors and nurses work on her trying to keep her alive, after a while of trying the monitor begins to flat line.

Doctor- "Hurry and stabilize her, we can't lose another one."

The doctors and nurses scatter while they begin hurrying to try and restart Anna's heart.

Nathan wakes up in a hospital bed, a nurse, Megan, and Andy stare at him as he begins to sit up slowly. He looks at them with a concerned look on his face.

Nathan Jones- (Concerned) "What?"

Nathan looks around the room noticing his mother and Henry wasn't there, he rushes out of bed, the IV snaps out of his arm not bleeding, in worry before getting stopped by the nurse. She gently pushes him back onto the bed.

Nurse- "Mr. Jones, are you sure you want to see your mother?"

Nathan looks at Andy, then to Megan as they look away with disappointment. Nathan looks back at the nurse.

Nathan Jones- (Concerned) "What's wrong with her?"

Megan walks over to Nathan, she sits on the bed and hugs him tightly as Andy and the nurse make their way to the door. Megan lets go of Nathan as they both stand up and make their way to the door, Nathan not noticing the frozen bed he got off of. Behind Andy and the nurse, they begin making their way down the hallway passing other rooms. The rooms were all full of teenagers from the high school dance. Nathan looks ahead.

Nathan Jones- "Can someone please tell me what happened to my mom? Please."

Everyone stays quiet as they walk down the hallway. They turn the corner and continue walking, Nathan still questioning.

Nathan Jones- "And can someone tell me how I'm still alive? I mean the last thing I remember, is me falling from the sky. Sixty feet no less, maybe even more."

Nathan looks at his body covered in bruises and cuts, and some gleaming cracks on his skin. Nathan questions again as they continue walking through a pair of metal doors.

Nathan Jones- "What happened to me? Somebody tell me."

{Present day}

Mr. Night- "So you say you fought a girl with sand from inside of her body? You thought she killed you, and you somehow woke up in a hospital, not knowing how you got there? (Moves hands onto the table) Am I missing anything here?"

Nathan looks at the man before standing up and struggles to break the handcuffs. Mr. Night stands up while Nathan speaks with sarcasm in his voice.

Nathan Jones- (Looking at the man) "Can you not interrupt me, you suit wearing little bitch?"

Mr. Night walks over to the door and leaves. In the room behind the two-way glass, Mr. Night walks up to the man with the frozen face as General Thorn stands next to him.
