The end of waiting game

I turned to him nang hindi siya lumiko papasok sa subdivision namin. Instead, he drives straight to their house.

"Get out," he demanded pero nanatili akong nakaupo habang masama ang tingin sa bahay nila. He tap the window beside me but I didn't even move an inch. Then he impatiently opens the door to my side.

"I told you to get out."

"You told me you will take me home so I won't get out unless we're in-front of our home."

He sign exasperatedly before pulling me out.

"Hey!" Napatili na lamang ako nang bigla niya akong buhatin na parang sako ng bigas. With his one hand he opened the door. Patuloy ako sa pagsisigaw. Tinawag ko pa ang Mama at Papa niya baka sakaling pagalitan nila siyang kapag nakita nila ang itsura namin but to my disappointment, they're out of the country.

"I hate you!" sigaw ko sa kanya nang pabagsak niya akong ibaba sa couch. I was about to get up when he pinned me down on that couch. "Xiv!"

"Ah, I miss that," he told me while smiling. Not that mockingly smile but a genuine smile. "I just want to talk to you, Belle and explain things why I didn't follow you."

Napaiwas na lamang ako ng tingin at napabuntong hininga. Maybe he sensed that I won't go anywhere kaya naman naupo na lamang siya sa tabi ko.

"I badly want to follow you but-"

"I know," I told him. Natatakot ako sa maaaring idahilan niya. I'm afraid that he would tell me he can't go because he is already in love with Emily.

"You knew? How?"

"Does it matter?"

"Then why are you like this, Belle? Why are you hurting me?" tanong nito at nag-iwas ng tingin sa akin. "Did your father told you everything?"

"What? Anong kinalaman ni Dad dito?" nagtatakang tanong ko na siyang nagpakunot ng noo niya.

"I thought you knew?"

"Yes! You're already inlove with Emily that's why!"

"What?!" hindi makapaniwalang tanong niya. Pero kung kanina ay naguguluhan siya, ngayon naman ay tumatawa siya. Natigil lang siya sa pagtawa niya when the doorbell rang.

"Where is she?" narinig ko pang tanong nang kung sino man ang dumating.

Then I was being trap into a bear hug I could barely breath.

"Gaga ka! Hindi ka man lang nagsabi na uuwi ka! Kung hindi pa tumawag sa akin ang lalaking ito para hanapin ka ay hindi ko pa malalaman na nakauwi ka na! Kinalimutan mo na ako!"

"I can't breath," I told Alexa at humiwalay naman siya sa akin pero masama pa rin ang tingin habang pinupunasan ang luha.

"Not a single message or call Mae Isabella!"

Napakamot naman ako sa batok ko. I admit I totally forgot to contact her. But that's because I got busy trying to forget my life here. I told her I was sorry and she just demanded that I should tell her everything.

"So why did you decided to come home if you're already living the best of your life there."

I rolled my eyes when she glances at Xiv when she mention the word 'best'

"I was invited for an interview here. I couldn't say no dahil kaibigan ni Dad ang may hawak sa TV show na iyon."

"So you really don't have any plans to come home kung hindi ka pa naimbitahan noong friend ng Dad mo?"
