Kara POV
"No!" I groaned, half yelling.
"No? Why not?"
"I will not Solar Flare, not in a million years," I repeated.
"Well, that's no fun. Maybe I will just start hurting your friend here, Martians are easy to torture. I just need to give you a little push, what do you say? C'mon." I looked at the limp figure of J'onn. I looked back at Roulette, giving her a glare.
"Fine, what do you need me to do?" She opened my cage and let me out. I ran at one of the guards who was stronger than me, he knocked me to the ground. I looked up at them, afraid of what they might do to me if I solar flare.
"Just use this," Roulette said as she handed me the helmet Lillian had used to take my powers last year. I put it on and did what she had told me to do. The pain of losing my powers out-weighed all of my other feelings and emotions, all through my body felt like breaking bones and losing all energy. I collapsed to the ground, the last thing I heard was Roulette's voice. "Thank you."
Lena POV
"Alex! We have to get her out!" I was furious,
"I'm sorry, Lena. We have no idea where they have taken her. They can't hurt her anyway, there is nothing that can make her vulnerable anymore.
"What if she Solar Flares?" I put the question out there, trying not to seem too scared that I was probably going to lose the one person on this planet that I truly loved.
"She won't. It isn't like they have anything to use as leverage." J'onn walked up to us, then sat at a desk.
"Trust me, she wouldn't Solar Flare on purpose." Alex.
"What if she does? What if they figured out a way to use something as leverage?" Me.
"Oh my god!" J'onn's cry pulled me out of the fury and into a complete rage. He had a video of Kara on the screen, she was strapped to a bed and bleeding.
"I thought you said she wouldn't Solar Flare!" I yelled, storming out of the DEO and heading for my car.
Alex POV
We were about to get Kara. It had been an hour since we got the location and we had a plan.
"Kara is our priority!" J'onn yelled as we all got out of the helicopter and glided down to the warehouse. I ran straight for the room that I knew had Kara in it, she was unconscious but breathing, thank god, or Rao!
"Kara, if you can hear me, I am here. You are safe now," I told her as I picked her up and strapped her to the stretcher that lifted her up to the helicopter. I grabbed the ladder along with the rest of my team, they had all covered me while I ran to Kara's aid.
J'onn POV
"Alex..." Kara opened her eyes slowly.
"It's okay. You are safe. We are in a helicopter heading for the DEO," Alex
"I can't... hold on, " She was gasping for air.
"No! You have to, please. I need you, Lena needs you!" Alex moved a few strands of hair off her face. She coughed and then fell unconscious again.
"Dammit!" I yelled when I checked her pulse and found nothing. I started freaking out, frantically doing CPR until I felt her breathing again. I took a moment to catch my breath, looking at Alex who was crying. "She is okay."
"We need to get her under the Sunlamps."
Kara POV
I woke to a certain love of mine crying at my side.
"Lena?" I sat up, all the pain had gone and I was completely healed.
"Kara, you need to rest," She said softly.
"Oh, Rao." I rolled my eyes. "I am fine." I got up and quickly got changed into my Supergirl outfit. "Lena, see? I am healed, I am fine."
"I was just so worried, I was unconscious when you were taken but Alex told me everything. You were abducted by an Alien and..." She was rambling. I thought that was my thing.
"Everything is okay now." I gave her a hug, finally feeling the warmth that I longed for in the torture room. She pulled away and told me there was a city that needs saving. I flew outside and saw destruction beyond what I could have previously imagined. Apparently, someone had decided that the best time to rain down havoc on the city was when Supergirl was abducted.
"Kara, the first priority is the Catco building!" I flew straight there and used my freeze breath to blow out the flames, then using my heat vision to secure some beams and went to another burning building. After saving about a dozen buildings, I went to find the source of the problem. The road was blocked off and an Infernian was causing terror around her.
"I thought you had been locked up!" I yelled. She turned and smiled.
"I was let out by General Lane. I have no clue why, all I know is that I am finally free to rain hell upon you again!" She tried to blast me with her heat vision but I knew I was stronger. I Shot my heat vision back at her, sending her flying into a car. She was out cold.
"Ugh, thank Rao!" I said, not realising my Comms was still on.
"What? Is everything okay?" Alex chimed in.
"Yeah, I just really didn't want to fight her again, took a long time to get her down last..." I felt burning hands on my neck. She had me in a headlock, burning me while also choking me. I saw J'onn come down and hit her hard, knocking her to the ground. He took out handcuffs that stopped her powers and picked her up. He flew away, not giving me a chance to thank him.
"Alex, what is up J'onn's butt?"
"He is angry that you didn't tell him I was back, he found out way after everyone else did."
"Oops?"
