Lena POV

"Alex!" I ran into Kara's room and saw her still asleep but thrashing around in her sleep and screaming Alex's name over and over again.

"Kara, calm down!" I went to her and held her down, this soothed her a bit and she woke up slowly.

"What's going on? Lena? Why are you here?"

"You asked me to stay, Kara." She sat up, still with a look of utter confusion.

"Why would I ask you to stay? I barely know you."

"What are you talking about? We have known each other for years."

"I haven't known you for a week let alone years." She all of the sudden started screaming again and clutching her head. Her eyes were closed tightly and I tried to comfort her but I didn't know what to do. "Alex! Call Alex!" She muttered between screams.

"Hold on!" I yelled, I ran into the kitchen and grabbing my phone, I quickly dialled Alex. Suddenly the screaming stopped and when I looked back into the room Kara was sound asleep. I called Alex, watching her chest rise and fall quickly.

"Lena, what's going on? There are reports of a, quote, bloodcurdling scream coming from an apartment near Kara's."

"I think everything is fine now. She was yelling that she didn't know me, that she had met me a week ago."

"It is just a bit of confusion. If she is still in that state in the morning, bring her here."

"Okay, hopefully not but, see you tomorrow."

"Yeah, bye." She hung up and I put my phone down, still staring at Kara. She looked happy but I knew she was having a nightmare. I knew she was miserable because of all the things she did while under the influence of Red Kryptonite. Last time, all she did was destroy some public property and lose the trust of the public. This time she killed people and hurt a lot of others. Including a whole building full of people. I went to walk out of the room when I heard muttering.

"Kara?" I whispered, heading back into the room and sitting by her side. She was talking in Kryptonese. I couldn't understand it but she was crying while almost chanting things. "Kara, honey." I put a hand on her shoulder, not completely sure whether it would calm her but it was worth a shot.

"Lena?" Her eyes snapped open and she started fussing.

"How are you feeling?"

"I feel like I was just thrown against a moving train." She coughed a few times and settled.

"Yeah, I had to use some really strong Kryptonite on you so we could get you to the DEO and get the Red K out of your system." I kissed her on the head, "You shouldn't move, get some rest." I told her but she still tried to sit up, groaning as she did.

"Where's Alex? Is she okay?" I watched as she freaked out. I found it hilarious that she was so worried about Alex.

"She is fine, what are you going on about?"

"I almost killed her, Lena."

Kara POV

I had nearly killed my own sister. How could I do that? I was going to kill her and Mon-El stopped me. What was going on? I wasn't under the Red Kryptonite's influence when I tried to kill her, I knew it. But if it wasn't that, why was I trying to kill my own sister?

"Kara, it was just a dream. You didn't go near Alex when you were under the Red K."

"But it was so real, I felt it. Lena, I know it was real!"

"Everything is fine," Lena assured me and I drifted off to sleep with a bit less anxiety knowing that Alex was fine.

I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. Lena was a terrible cook so I knew it wasn't her making breakfast. I got up, using the wall as a crutch and stumbling to the kitchen.

"Kara!" Winn exclaimed. I flinched at his happiness and excitement. I didn't know why but I couldn't feel happy, I didn't have the energy to smile.

"Hey, Winn." I forced myself to smile, making it seem as real as possible. I took my hand off the wall and quickly sat on the chair next to the bench that Winn had placed my breakfast on.

"You seem happier than Lena described. Maybe you just needed the sleep," He confirmed that my fake smile was working, thank Rao. Lena opened the door with an excited expression on her face. "What are you on right now?"

"Excitement. Guess what my scientists discovered last night?" Winn and I both gave Lena blank expressions, waiting for her to explain.

"Well?" I said, wincing because of my extremely dry throat. I took a note of this and quickly downed the whole glass of water Winn had given me.

"This!" She held up a syringe, Winn's expression didn't change but I knew that mine had. This time my smile was slightly genuine.

"That's..." I could barely speak

"Liquid yellow sun radiation." Winn looked at me, I smiled even wider. This meant I could have my powers back. Lena ran to me and looked at me with questioning eyes. I nodded and she pulled the cover off the needle, using her thumb to pick a spot on my arm. I closed my eyes and braced for the small, sharp pain associated with these monstrous devices. When it came and went, I opened my eyes.

"Are you okay?" Winn walked over to my side, grabbing my hand.

"Yeah, I don't feel any different though." I lied, I felt tired and sick all of the sudden. "I think I am going to go lie..." I wasn't in any pain anymore. I knew in that moment that I had gotten my powers back, "Lena!" I smiled and laughed, using the needle to try to stab my finger but nothing happened.

"You have your powers back!"

(A few hours later.)

"Where is she?" Alex ran in.

"What's wrong?" Lena said.

"We got a message from Cadmus that you and Lena are in danger." She said to me with tears streaming down her face.

"Cadmus?" Lena grabbed my hand, squeezing it as tight as she could and I knew why. Obviously, Alex didn't know that I now had my powers back, which meant she was worrying for nothing.

"They're back, Kara. We don't know who is leading them but they are back and more brutal. They are who sent a tiny pebble of Red K to your door that you wouldn't even notice is there to hurt you."

"Kara, tell her what just happened."

"What happened?" Alex repeated, looking at us with concern written all over her face. I used my laser vision to tell her, shooting a plant's leaf off next to the door on the other side of the room. I knew my aim was good but it surprised me how amazing it had become lately. Alex's face went from upset and concerned to excited, just like Lena's was when she came in.

I still felt like I didn't have the energy for happiness. I didn't understand why it was so hard for me to laugh or have any joy whatsoever. I still maintained the fake laughs and grins, hoping to Rao that I would find the source of this depression.

Hey lovelies, I am going to finish this story soon. I know that some of you might be enjoying it but when I write these, they get too long. Arakmuraya is freakishly long and this is just growing and growing. I have two new books that I am writing at the minute, one is original and the other is loosely based off of Vampire Diaries. Please check them out and enjoy every minute that you read my books, it means a lot that you are taking the time to read them.
