"to be worthy does not mean to be perfect."

"Annie LeBlanc! Wake up! It's 9:00 am start your day already!" Paige said shaking me. "Ughhhh! 10 more minutes!" I said turning around, covering myself with the blankets.

"Fine. But get up! We're going shopping for the apartment." Paige said leaving my room. After I heard the door shut, I pull the covers off my head and groan.

After debating in my head which is better, donuts or cupcakes, I get up and get ready for the day.

As I get out of the shower, I wrap a towel over my wet body and walk over to my closet. I decide on a long sleeve light sweater with leggings since it's quite chilly outside.

I dry off my hair and braid it. I leave my makeup and walk out to see no breakfast. "Right. New home, no groceries." I mumble to myself. "Paige!" I shout. She walks out from her room.

"When you said shopping for the apartment, did you mean groceries?" I asked. "Mhm. For now, can you go grab some Starbucks for us?" Paige said handing me money.

I nod and walk to the Starbucks that's only a 5 minute walk from our complex. I walk in and smell the warm, fall coffee. I love this smell. I mentally smile.

I wait in line for my turn. "What can I get you today?" A guy asked. "Can I have two caramel macchiatos, one hot chocolate and 3 bagels?" I asked. "Of course. What size?" He asked. "Grande." I said. "Name?" "Annie." "Alright that would be 12.50" he said. I hand him the cash and thanked him.

Since I still had time for my order, I to the bathroom when I bumped into a guy. "Sorr- Annie?" He said. I looked up and knew exactly who it was. "Dylan?" I said we both hugged each other for the longest time.

Dylan is one of Hayden's older brothers. He treats me like his sister. "I missed you so much! How have you been?" He said releasing from the hug. "Okay. How about you?" I smile.

"Great! What are you doing in Cali?" He asked. "We actually moved here." I smile. "That's amazing!" He smiled. We chatted a bit more until his order got called. "Here's my number. Bye Annie!" He said walking away. I waved him bye.

I go use the bathroom quickly and walk back out to see my order. I pick it up and walk back to the apartment.

"Starbucks has arrived!" I shouted as I locked the door. I walked to the kitchen to see Paige and Hayley waiting impatiently.

"One hot chocolate for Hayley and one caramel macchiato for Paige! Plus bagels!" I said giving the, their food. They thanked me and we ate, talking.

I told them that I saw Dylan. And everything. After Hayley left the kitchen, "Paige, do you think he'll tell Hayden we moved to Cali?" I asked. "Probably considering he's his brother." Paige said.

"Paige, the Summeralls don't know what happened. They don't know about Caleb, or my parents." I said bitting my lip.

"Do you want them to know?" Paige asked trying to calm me down a bit. "No." I said looking away. "I don't even know how Hayden is. I haven't seen him in like forever! I don't know if he's his same dorky self." I giggled.

"Well, let's talk about this later. For now we have to go shopping and I already found a job." Paige winked with her flawless lashes. "Really?!" I said shooting up. "Yep! Im fashion and makeup manager!" She said.

We both shared our excitement until it was time to go. Since our car from Maryland was still being delivered to here, we had to take the cab. Paige and Hayley went grocery shopping while I went home decorating shopping.

I got dropped off at the mall. As I roamed around a bit, I decided to go to bed bath and bodyworks first. As I entered, the fall scents hit me. I grinned as I walked through.

As I was checking out a candle, someone bumped into me. "I'm sorry." He said. I turned to the person and it was the same guy who served me Starbucks this morning. "It's fine." I smiled.

"Your the pretty girl I served Starbucks to this morning right?" He asked. He was around my age with dirty blonde hair. "Yep that's me!" I smiled. "Well, my names Johnny." He smiled. (a/n: yes, johnny orlando.)

"I'm Annie, as you already know." I giggled. "That's a beautiful name." He smiled. "Thank you." I slightly blushed. "Well Annie, I hope to see you around." He winked, leaving the store.

I smiled and bought the vanilla scented candle. I walk out of the store to go buy other things such as decorations, bedding items, bathroom essentials and ect.

I pull out my phone and call Paige.

Annie- Hey Paigyy! I finished shopping!
Paige- Hey Annie Banannie! I was just about to call you and tell you that Hayley and I finished too.
Annie- Great! I'll call a cab and meet you at the house.
Paige- Awesome. See you then!

I end the call and walk to the exit. Just as I was about to exit, it started to sprinkle and then rain. Shoot I thought to myself. How am I suppose to get a ride now. I sigh. I was about to call Paige to let her know but my phone was dead.

"Need a ride?" A familiar voice asked me. I turn around and see Johnny. "Johnny! Perfect timing." I giggle. "Let's go to my car." He said. I nodded and followed him.

We ran to his car trying not to get wet, but of course we did. We both enter the car laughing. "So are you new?" He asked pulling out of the parking spot.

"Is it that obvious?" I sighed. "Yeah." He laughed. I sighed. I gave him the directions to the apartment and he dropped me off. "Thanks for the ride." I smiled. "Don't mention it."

I grabbed my bags and ran up to the apartment. "Hey girlie." Paige smiled. Hayley quickly took the bags out of my hand and ran back with them to the couch.

"Hey!" I sarcastically said. "What's with the attitude?" She laughed. "I'm wet." I rolled my eyes sitting on the couch next to Hayley.

"Well, to add to your misery, school starts tomorrow." She smirked. I groaned and shoved my face into the couch pillow.
