It's been exactly one week since Annie and I have broken up. I miss her so much, there are no words to describe it.
Each night I fall asleep, think about how much Annie must be hurting. It breaks me, knowing she cries. My heart aches for her.
It aches to hear her laughter, see her beautiful smile, get lost in her eyes that are full of so much wonder, kiss her soft lips, cuddle her on cold mornings and feeling her warm, caring hugs.
Who am I kidding, I'm broken without her. I look myself in the mirror and sigh. I decided to text Annie. Harvey can't find me and Annie if I text her... right?
I pick up my phone and stare at it. Debating wether or not to text her.
hayden- anns, please text me. i need to explain.
hayden- annie you deserve an explanation
annie- you're right. i do. so tell me before i change my mind.
hayden- annie, i love you with all my heart. i can't think of ever hurting you. harvey, a friend of marcos, threatened me to break up with you. if i didn't, he would've killed you. i love you annie. we can secretly date.
She left me on read. I sigh and get ready for the day. No school. I finish getting ready and walk downstairs for breakfast. No ones home since basically everyone works.
As I was waiting for my toast to pop out of the toaster, the doorbell rang. I hop of the kitchen island as walk to the door.
Once I open it, someone dashes into me and hugs me tightly. It was so fast I couldn't tell who it was.
"I'm sorry Hayden." I automatically know who that is. "Don't apologize Annie." I said closing the door and then hugging her back.
"No, I'm serious. I shouldn't have been upset. You were just trying to protect me and-" before I let her finish her sentence, I smash my lips into hers.
I missed this so much. After a good ten seconds she pulled away. "I missed you Hay." She mumbled.
"I missed you too Anns." I whispered into her ear. "Never leave me?" She asked, as we stare into each others eyes.
"I can't think of it."
"I love you Annie LeBlanc." "I love you too Hayden Summerall."
