"missing you comes in waves. tonight im drowning."
5 months later
-
It's been 5 months.

5 months since I've seen Hayden. It's November month and I'm normal as ever. Not.

Things haven't changed too much. Hayley, Paige and I have the strongest bond. Kenzie and Jayden are my besties. Everything's fine, but somethings missing.

Something doesn't feel right in my life. A piece of my heart is in danger.

And that part is Hayden.

My heart aches everyday without him. He even stopped coming to school after a couple weeks since that incident. He's homeschooled from what Dylan told me.

Jayden, Kenzie and I are still the only people that know Haydens apart of the shadows. I promised to keep his secret. Am I doing the right thing? I don't know. You tell me.

Today is a chilly, Thursday morning. It was raining so hard today school was canceled. Crazy right?

Hayley was doing school in the kitchen while I was making us some hot chocolate. Paige was at work. "Want marshmallows?" I ask Hayley. She looks up at me and nods.

I add in marshmallows too her cup. "Here you go." I smiled giving her the cup. "Thank you!" She replied looking at the cup in awe.

We both chatted the cold morning away. Ding
I check my phone to see a message from Jayden.

Jayden- hey girlie! wanna go shopping today? you can bring hayley!
Annie- sure!
Jayden- great! kenzie and I'll pick you up in about an hour xx
Annie- k. see you soon! xx

"Up for some shopping Hay?" I asked grinning. She happily said.
-
"Oooo Annie! You should try this on!" Kenzie said, holding a white blouse. "Sure." I smiled. I took the blouse and changed.

"What do you guys think?" I said twirling. "Beautiful." I head someone say. It wasn't the girls. It was Caleb. He was leaning against the wall with a smile plastered on his angelic face.

I smiled at him and he was gone. "Looks sooooo you!" Jayden squealed. "Agreed." Hayley and Kenzie said in sync.

I ended up buying the blouse and we headed to grab some lunch. We went to a fancy restaurant thing.

We ended up buying sandwiches. After eating, Jayden dropped Hayley and I at our apartment. Paige wasn't home yet, but it was 7:00.

"I'm going to bed." Hayley said yawning. "Night Haybug." I smiled. She tiredly smiled and took of.

I changed into sometime comfy. Ding Dong
The door? I thought Paige would've had the key.

I opened the door to reveal someone I thought I would never see again. "H-Hayden?" I stuttered. He closed the door behind him.

"Where's your room?" He asked with a nerve in his voice. I lead him to my room. He locked the my door.

"Why are you here?" I asked with mixed emotions. He just walked over to me and pulled me in a warm hug. I was confused but happy.

"I'm sorry." He whispered. "For what?" "You'll find out. But I have to go." Hayden said pulling away from the hug that I wished lasted forever.

"What do you mean?" I start to worry. "Here, take this. Read it tomorrow." Hayden said giving me an envelope. "What is this?" I asked looking at the white envelope.

"You'll see. I'm sorry. I hope you forgive me one day." Hayden said again. "Hayden what do you mean? Why are you sorry? And why do you have to go?" I asked again.

He didn't say anything, but kiss me. Then he pulled away. "I love you Julianna." And then he left.

He left me in a pool of mixed emotions. I'm confused as heck.
