chapter twenty

"That's weird. Why would he ask you about Hayden?" Jayden asked, munching on some snacks. We were currently at lunch.

I shrugged my shoulders. "That's what I'm trying to figure out." I sighed. Jayden and I talked a bit more until Hayden came over.

"Hey Hay." I smiled. "Hey Anns, Jayden. What's up with the principal?" He asked sitting down next to me.

"I don't know. He just asked me about you. I didn't give anything away obviously." I said. "That dude gives me the chills." Hayden shivered.

Jayden and I laughed at his stupidness. "Bye guys!" He said getting up, giving me a quick peak on the cheek.

"You're lucky you have a boyfriend like Hayden." Jayden sighed. "Come on Jay! Kenzie and I know you like Conner." I winked.

She giggled. "Maybe someday. Where is Kenz anyway?" Jayden asked. Now that she mentions it, I haven't seen Kenzie. She's never this late to lunch.

"Left early?" I suggested. Jayden nodded.

Yay! Thanksgiving break!! I was waiting for Hayden outside of school. Hayley, Paige, Hayden and I are planning to have a movie night.

"Hey princess." Hayden said walking up to me. I smiled. "What's up with the cute new nicknames?" I asked as we walked to his car.

"Why? Don't like them?" He asked, pouting. I laughed. "No! Of course not! I love them." I smiled.

As we were driving to my apartment, "Do you ever think of me as a bad person?" Hayden asked. "No. Why would I think that? You are amazing and loving. You made one mistake so what?" I said.

"Thanks Anns." He smiled. "Anytime Hay."

Hayden and I walked up to the apartment. I opened the door with my spare key and let us in.

I saw Paige and Hayley chilling on the couch. "Look who's back from school." Paige smiled. Hayley ran up to Hayden and gave him a big hug.

I love their relationship. After hugging Hayden, she hugged me. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready to get my movie on!" Hayden said doing a ridiculous dance.

"Nobody says that." I laughed. We all ended up laughing till our stomachs hurt. "I'll be back!" I say, walking into my room.

I change into something more comfortable and brush my hair. As I was brushing my hair, I saw Hayden coming into my room through the mirror.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder. "How did I get so lucky." He asked. "I wonder the same thing." I smiled.

He started to kiss my neck. I was going to stop him, but I didn't. He stopped and started to kiss my lips.

Whenever I kissed him, it felt magical. I dropped my hair brush and moved my hands to his neck. He laid me down on the bed. We started to make out.

After like 5 minutes, I pushed him off me. "I think that's enough for today." I giggled. He smirked.

I walked back to the mirror and put my hair up into a messy bun. When I looked at my neck, I saw a hickey.

"Hayden! Really?!" I exclaimed pointing to my neck. He smiled. I rolled my eyes and we walked out.

"What movie?" Paige asked. We all agreed on minions since it was appropriate for Hayley.

"Annie what that on your neck?" Hayley asked me. My cheeks turned bright red. I looked over at Hayden who was trying to hide his smirk.

"Oh, um... In gym a ball hit my neck." I said, hoping she would buy it. She nodded and refocused her attention to the movie.

I looked at Paige who was giving me a smirk. I threw a couch pillow at her and giggled. I cuddled up into Hayden chest.

He threw a blanket over us and rested his arm around me. Everything's perfect.
