CHRISTMAS:

christmas; the best time of the year. a time to spend with your loved ones, give presents to show love, and get drunk on egg nog. indeed, the best time of the year.

"jihoon," you yelled for your boyfriend, "let's go shopping today. you need to get some things to give as gifts."

"ugh... do we really have to?" he replied, walking down the stairs.

"yes. it's christmas time, and that means it's time to buy presents for everybody."

"fine." he finally complied.

"yessss!" you yelled, excitedly. you ran to the front door to grab your uggs, scarf, and jacket. jihoon followed shortly behind to do the same. after he finished wrapping his scarf around his neck, he opened the door for you.

"ladies first." he winked. you blushed and giggled.

"thanks jihoon." you said, stepping out of the front door.

"yup." he replied, following you shortly behind. "where do you want to go first?"

"hmm." you pondered. "let's just browse because i don't have anywhere in particular that i want to go."

"sounds good." he said, lacing his fingers with yours. the two of you walked along the snow filled streets and discussed what jihoon should get for his fellow members.

"let's stop here!" you said excitedly.

"a chocolate shop?" he questioned.

"who doesn't love chocolate?!" you replied. "you need more gift ideas, and chocolate is a great idea! they ought to have something appealing here, right?"

"i guess." he sighed. the two of you entered the store and started to browse the endless aisles of chocolate. dark chocolate, white chocolate, milk chocolate, strawberry chocolate? this store had everything!

"what about this jihoon?" you yelled. he walked over to you. you had found chocolate covered oreos that looked irresistibly decicous. "don't they look amazing!"

"yeah, they do. i could really go for some right now..." he said, licking his lips. "ok let's by 14 and get out of here."

"14?" you asked.

"one package for all of the members, and one for you, and one for me." he explained.

"aww that's a great idea! i'm sure the guys will love it. and thank you." you kissed his cheek.

"phew. i'm glad you approve. now let's go check out." he held the cookies in one hand and held yours with the other.

"all set?" the cashier asked.

"yup!" you said. jihoon set the cookies on the counter.

"these are a personal favorite." the cashier winked.

"that's good to know. they're going to be a gift to his friends." you pointed at jihoon, who was fishing for his wallet in his pocket.

"i'm sure they will love it! do you want gift wrap?"

"yes please." you replied. jihoon put his card in the reader and took the bag of cookies from the cashier.

"have a nice night!" she said, handing you the receipt.

"you too." jihoon replied, holding you hand and walking out of the store. when you got home, jihoon laid out the cookies. "guess what came in the mail today?" he asked. you gasped with excitement.

"they came?! i can't wait to see them!" you jumped up and down.

"i had a feeling." jihoon walked over to the counter and grabbed a large package. he tore it open with a steak knife. inside were 13 large, rectangular boxes with the seventeen emblem on the front. he pulled one out and opened it up. inside was a necklace with a circular pendant. on the pendant, a diamond cross-section was engraved. it said svt on each triangular section, with the logo on the top section. he flipped it over, and on the back it said joshua, vocal unit. "this one just happened to be joshua's."

"jihoon, these are so cool!" you fangirled.

"but wait." he said. he reached his to the back of the bag and pulled out a box that was similar to the others. he handed it to you.

"for me?" you asked. he nodded 'yes.' you opened the box but instead of saying svt, it said j + (first initial of first name). on the back, there was a heart.

"jihoon, this is so sweet! thank you!" you said. you gave him a sweet kiss.

"merry christmas love." he replied.

"merry christmas jihoon."
