here's a VERY long awaited fic! our hiatus is officially over! school starts tomorrow and we're both so excited! yay! more fics coming up! enjoy this cute joshua one in the meantime~

Shua☺️: Heyy there
You: hey..
Shua☺️: is something wrong?
You: no just a little scared that's all
Shua☺️: awe poor you why?
You: shua it's literally storming like crap today, you should know as my best friend that I hate storms
Shua☺️: Oh ya ya sorry, as your best friend..., do you mind if I come over to give you comfort?
You: I don't mind, that would be nice
Shua☺️: alright give me a few minutes, do you want me to grab anything from the store on my way?
You: no I just want you by my side
Shua☺️: okay:)

After Joshua read that last text from (y/n) he could not stop blushing. (Y/n) had been Joshua's best friend since they were both five,but he has had feelings for her for a while he just doesn't know how to tell her..
-time skip-

Before you could sit down and turn on the tv there was a knock at your door, assuming it was Joshua you sprinted to the door because you were excited that he came over. You opened the door to see a half soaked cutie, you pulled him and closed the door.

"Why don't you have an umbrella silly"

"I forgot it" he says giggling

"Ah I see, here I grab a blanket for you"

Joshua walks over to the couch and sits down while you make your way to your closet to grab him a warm fluffy blanket.

When you return Joshua has already turned on the tv and put on Cartoon Network, you take a seat next to him and wrap him in the blanket and the grab your own.

"No, lets share a blanket!" He says putting his around you as well.

You don't decline the offer instead you let him wrap you with the blanket and curl up next to him.

After about seven minutes of peace and the storm not really scaring you a loud boom sounds and makes you jump closer to Joshua and he grabs you with both arms and pulls you closer to him in order to calm you down. After a few moments you two are still in the same position, closer than friends should be, but hey you like it and Joshua doesn't seem to mind so you just snuggle up to him more (if that's even possible¿) and he smiles and holds you tighter.

Once a commercial Joshua taps you on the cheek and you look up at him.

"I've been wanting to say this to you for a while now.."

"What is it?" You ask.

"I-i have had feelings for you for a while now but we have such a great friendship that I didn't want it to be ruined but right now how we are I can't help to think that we're just friends you know?"

"So what you're saying is...?" You say teasingly even though you know what he's trying to say.

"What I'm trying to say is, can we be more than friends?"

"Shua do you think I would be snuggling up to you right now like this if I didn't have feelings for you as well?"

"So that's a yes?"

"Yes of course"

"Okay, I'm so happy" he says blushing

" me too, I'm not so scared of thunderstorms now" you say giggling.
