I opened my locker, peering into it blankly.
"Couldn't you be just...you know normal?"
"What do you mean normal?"
"Well you're kind of...you're kind of a freak."
I pulled a book out, shutting my locker.
"That's a physics book," A handsome male voice said.
"And you're a douche bag who doesn't know how to take no for an answer. Those are both great obversations but what point are we trying to get at here?" I snapped, meeting the eyes of Damon.
He raised his hands in surrender, his eyes widened mockingly. "I was just trying to let you know that we have Math's first period. Not...physics," He said.
I stared at him blankly and groaned, ripping my locker open. Only I forgot to unlock it so all I managed to do was make a loud noise and piss myself off more.
"Jeez. What did you have for breakfast? Bitch flakes?" he asked, looking over my shoulder.
I sighed, then turned around, whacking him in the face with my book.
Twack!
Everyone stopped, staring at us with wide eyes.
"Don't piss me off today. I'm running out of places to hide bodies," I said coldly, turning back to my locker and unlocking it. I put my book in, grabbing my math book. I turned around and everyone's eyes flickered from me and Damon.
"Told you she was a freak," Ashley whispered to the guy standing next to her.
Alias-Wait. He was new. His striking blue eyes met mine, watching me.
Analyzing me.
"Ksh," I said, tearing my gaze away. Damon smirked at me suddenly, putting his arms on either side of me, causing me to drop my math book in surprise.
"What the hell are you doing?" I hissed as he leaned closer, causing me to lean against the lockers,'Everyone's watching us."
"I take it you aren't into people watching you in the bedroom then. I can fix that soon enough. But for now..." He turned, yelling at everyone,"Everyone out! Now!"
Everyone turned their eyes down, murmuring amongst themselves as they filed through the doors to their classrooms.
The new boy watched us for a second, before fading into the crowd.
"This is harassment you know," I hissed, trying to squirm away from him.
"It's not harassment if you want it," He whispered seductively, leaning closer until he was just inches from my face.
"Um Damon? Damon Dark?" a small female voice squeaked.
Damon turned and I looked over his shoulder, almost laughing when I saw who that small voice belonged to. Ashley.
"What is it?" Damon asked, annoyance laced in his voice.
"Well...um...I'm- I mean my name is Ashley," She said, trying futilely to puff her chest out.
"You need boobs to wear a top like that. And you're flatter than an ironing board," I piped up.
She glared at me and Damon let out a low chuckle. "Shut up freak," She hissed.
Damon raised an eyebrow, looking at me.
I shrugged. "Her enduring little nickname for me."
"Ah," he said, turning back to her.
"Anyway...I was wondering if you'd like to...um hang out with me?" Ashley said.
"Listen ah Ashlen-"
"Ashley," she corrected.
"Yeah whatever. I'm kind of busy right now. But I'm sure we can talk about this some other time," he said, turning back to me.
He smirked and I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest.
"But...she's...she's a freak," Ashley protested.
"And you're the girl who sleeps with every guy she can. What is with everyone making these observations? Don't you have hobbies?" I snipped.
Damon looked at me in amusement as Ashley fumed.
"Not every guy!" she snapped.
I rolled my eyes, batting my eyelashes. "Oh please do excuse my mistake. I meant every guy above you in the social ladder. Although come to think of it...that still means every guy like ever," I smirked.
Damon let out a bark of laughter and Ashley glared at him.
"Whatever freak. I'm not your friend-" she spat.
"You should add that to the list of things you aren't: A decent person, a virgin, my friend, athletic, pretty, good-looking in that outfit and-"
"Shut up," She hissed, walking away.
"Oh and funny! You're not funny!" I called after her.
She cursed loudly, putting up her middle finger.
"Or possessing a sense of humour! You definitely aren't possessing of a sense of humor!"
Damon laughed as she stepped away and turned back to me. "You're so beautiful when you're smiling like that," He cooed, as if I were a child.
"Smiling like what? I always smile like this. I do have a special smile when I kick your ass though," I smirked.
He sighed, shaking his head.
"Anyway...where were we?" he asked, grinning down at me.
I opened my mouth to tell him to sod off, but was beaten by someone else.
"I think you were about to let her to her next class because school just started," A rich male voice said, "So let her go."
