"You're... you can't be here." I breathed, taking a step back.
Cain smiled, stepping forward and placing a hand on my shoulder. "I can be where ever I please Rya-"
"Get your hand off me!" In a moment of panic I slapped his hand away, my as eyes wide as those of a cornered animal.
Anger flashed through Cain's eyes before he smiled again, letting out a strangled chuckle.
"You have guts. But don't worry, I'll beat it out of you soon enough," he grinned, looking down at me.
I stared at him, my breath frozen in my throat.
He suddenly frowned, looking down at me in distaste, pulling the cigarette away from my lips, swiftly planting it on his.
He breathed in, exhaling slowly. Then his hand fell to my arm and I gasped in pain as the cigarette met my skin.
My scream of pain was muffled as his hand clamped over my mouth and he sighed as I fell to the ground, throwing the cigarette away.
"Smoking is such a disgusting habit for a women. Get rid of it," he said, looking down at me.
I stared up at him in fear, tears streaming down my cheeks.
He smiled. "God I just love it when you're like this. So fragile and obedient. Ryan over here tells me you've become again quite the trouble maker. Even badmouthing him a few times. I couldn't believe my ears. Of course, that all changes now that I'm back doesn't it?" Cain narrowed his eyes at me as I slowly regained my sense, planting my hands on the ground as I prepared to stand up.
A sound of displeasure resonated through his chest as he brought his foot down on my fingers, crushing them and earning a pitiful cry from me.
"Doesn't it?" He hissed, crouching down.
I meet his gaze, tears blurring my vision.
"Y-yes." I whispered, ashamed at being so weak.
"What did you say dear? I didn't quite catch that." He leaned more on my fingers and I gave sharp moan, a sickeningly dry cracking sound filling the air as pain shot through my fingers.
"I said... I said yes!" I gasped, praying for someone to save me, for anyone to save me.
Cain stared at me for a moment before smiling a carefree grin and removing his foot from my fingers.
"Well now that that's settled, why don't we all go inside for a nice cup of tea? It is quite chilly after all." Cain marched cheerfully through the backdoor, leaving Ryan and I alone.
"Please..." I begged softly as he grabbed my arm and sling it over his shoulder,"Don't do this. Don't make me go back to him."
He glanced at me with pity before dragging me towards the house.
"I'm sorry Ryann. But you should have thought of what you were doing before you pissed him off." Ryan refused to meet my eyes this time and I let my head slump, quiet sobs ripping through my chest as I was dragged closer to the home I had thought I could escape.
Closer to the hell I had hoped I would never have to see again.
Only now that hell had come back to me.
