Melanie P.O.V

*The next morning*

I woke up with my neck hurting really bad. I had slept the whole night with my head burried in Grayson's chest. I didn't mind though. I think I'm starting to have some feelings for Grayson, I mean who wouldn't?
I carefully got up from the couch to go to my bedroom. Luckily I didn't wake up Grayson. I went upstairs to my bedroom bathroom. I did my business and brushed my teeth. Once I brushed my teeth, I brushed my hair and put it up to a messy bun. I grabbes a gray oversized sweatshirt and some black leggings. I didn't want to do much today. I grabbes my phone off of my vanity and went downstairs to see if Grayson was up.
Grayson was sitting on the couch and rubbing his eyes.
"G'morning" I said to him and hugged him.
"Morning, when did you wake up?" He asked me.
"About 15 minutes ago" I said and giggled. He nodded his head and hugged me back.
"Do you want anything to eat? I was thinking maybe we could go and get some breakfast." I said while hugging him.
"Sure, just let me go get ready." He said and got off the couch. I grabbed all the blankets and pillows and out them back in my room where they belong. I grabbed my tiny backpack and put my wallet in it and a portable charger. I went downstairs and Grayson was already putting his black nikes on. I put on my white vans and went out the door. Grayson locked the door and caught up to me. I looked up at him and smiled.
"So where are we heading?" He asked.
"To a little cafe" I replied.
He nodded and kept walking.
As we were walking I felt him hold my hand. I looked up at him and smiled widely. I interwined our fingers together. He then looked down at me and smiled widely. I giggled and we continued walking hand in hand to the cafe.

*At the cafe*

"You do know that I can pay for my own food, right?" I said to him, since he paid for my order and for his.
"Yeah, I just wanted to be a gentleman" He said and chuckled. I just shook my head and laughed. Our orders came. I ordered a chicken sandwich with sweet tea. Grayson ordered a burger and a milkshake. I have no clue how he is so fit, but eats so much junk food. As soon as he got his food, he digged in.
"You were that hungry?" I said and giggled. He looked up from his food and nodded with a goofy smile. I then started to eat my breakfast. While we were eating breakfast, we talked to eachother about random things and laughed a lot. I really enjoy his company.
While we were going home, we decided to stop by a park.
"Let's go to the swings" I said while pointing to the swings and practically dragging him by his arm with me.
"You are such a 5 year old" He said and laughed at my actions. I sat on one of the swings.
"I know, c'mon now, sit" I said and pointed to the swing next to me. He chuckled and sat down beside me.
"So what are we doing today?" I asked while sitting on the swing and playing with his hand.
"Well, a few of my friends want to come over and just hang out" Grayson said while watching my every move.
"How many do you mean by a few? Will Ethan be with them?" I asked again.
"No, Ethan has some other plans. And by a few I mean 2." Grayson replied.
"Oh, okay, just don't trash the place" I said and giggled. He nodded his head and smiled.
Soon enough we went home and just watched TV.
Suddenly the doorbell rang and it scared me a little, since I forgot that his friends were coming over. Grayson went to the door. I saw two boys come inside. They did their bro-hug thingy (idk what it's called).
The one with the darker hair came into the living room and sat beside me on the couch. He kept staring at me.
"May I help you?" I said turning to look at him from the TV.
"I would like to know your name, beautiful" He said.
I was about to say something before I got cut off.
"Her name's Melanie!" Grayson yelled from the kitchen. I just smiled at the boy beside me.
"Got it!" The boy yelled back to Grayson. The other boy sat on the other side of the couch.
He smiled at me, had really nice dimples.
"Oh, I'm Jack" the boy with the nice dimples said and waited for me to shake his hand.
"Nice to meet you, Jack" I said and smiled back.
"So what is your name?" I said looking at the boy with darker hair.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to introduce myself" he said chuckling "My name's Cameron, just like Grayson's sister's name but I'm a boy" he said and I nodded.
"Nice to meet you, Cameron, Grayson didn't tell me he had a sister" I said and smiled.
"Well now you know" Jack said. Grayson came back from the kitchen with a large bowl of chips. Finally. I grabbed the bowl from his hands and continued to watch the TV. I wasn't really paying attention to what the boys were talking about, until I heard something that caught me off guard.
"So are you two, like, dating?" Jack asked all of a sudden. I almost chocked on my chips.
I looked at Grayson and he was blushing from the question. I looked at Cameron and Jack, they were smirking and waiting for the anwser.
"So are you?" Cameron asked.
"No we aren't" I managed to say finally.
"Good, cause we wanna take our boy to the club" Cameron sain. I was a little bit upset.
"Is there a special occasion?" Grayson asked.
"Well yeah, we finnaly got together after so long." Jack said. "We'll invite Ethan also."
"Okay, cool, text Eth now so he knows our plans for tonight." Grayson said. I continued to watch TV.
"Ok, we're going to go get ready for tonight, it was nice meeting you, Melanie" Cameron said and pulled me into a friendly hug. It shocked me at first but I quickly hugged back. Jack did the same and they went to wherever they went.
I grabbed the, now, empty bowl of chips and went to wash the bowl. I could hear footsteps behind me so I stopped in my tracks. I turned around and Grayson was standing there with his hans in his pockets.
"I'm sorry" He said.
"For what?" I said and slightly giggled. I turned around and washed the bowl.
"That I'm going to the club tonight, I really don't want you to be alone in here. But I also want to spend some time with my boys." He manages to say.
"Don't be sorry, we aren't even dating so I don't really know why are you concerned. I'll just probably spent most of my time on social media and just watching TV, so you can go witg your boys" I said and smiled.
"Really?" He said excited.
"Really" I said and laughed at him.
"Thank you" he said and gave me a big bear hug.
"No problem?" I said in kind of a questioning tone, cause I don't know why would he need my permision.
He smiled at me widely and ran to his room to get ready.
He soon got ready and the boys came to pick him up. He hugged me goodbye and ran to the boys car, they drove off. My evening was really chill and I did nothing but waste my time on social media and watched TV, just like I said.
