¤Grayson's P.O.V¤

"Guys, get the fuck up!" I yelled as I shook Tessa and Ethan. I was in their hotel room. They were  still asleep. It was 8 a.m, I didn't care if it was too early for them.
"Grayson, I'm telling you this for the 10th time, IT'S WAY TOO EARLY!" Ethan yelled the last part while his eyes were still closed. Tessa was resting her head on Ethan's chest, giggling at our little argument. Kiwi was softly barking at Ethan.
"No, it's not early. Get up or I'm leaving without you." I said as I crossed my arms iver my chest and leaned against the door frame. Ethan sighed.
"Fine, just let us get ready atleast." Tessa said as she sat up properly. I threw a pillow at Ethan's face.
"Hurry." I said with a smile and walked out to the living room with Kiwi by my side.
"Asshole!" Ethan yelled and I just chuckled. I picked up Kiwi and placed him on my lap as I sat on the comfortable couch. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and went on Instagram. There were loads of pictures of me and Melanie with captions such as "Pray for our smol beans" or "We're going to miss you Mel. RIP.". All of the captions that I read made me tear up. I locked my phone and shoved it back in my pocket. I started brushing my fingers through Kiwi's soft fur. Soon enough, the door opened.
"We're ready. We can go- Grayson what's wrong?" Tessa said to me as she came to me and pulled me into a hug.
"Nothing, let's just go. I really want to see her." I said as I wiped some tears and got up. Kiwi was in my embrace now. We then made our way to the hospital.

*At the hospital*

We walked in. I gave the lady a nod and she sent me a weak smile. We went up straight to Melanie's room. I went in first. I took one of the roses, enhaled its smell and threw it out. 3 roses left. Tessa took a seat next to Melanie's bed while me and Eth stood beside it.
"Could you guys, maybe, give me a few minutes? I want to talk to her." Tessa said to us with her voice cracking and a smile still on her face. Me and Ethan nodded and went outside the room.

¤Melanie's P.O.V¤

The boys left the room and Tessa  started to speak, softly.
"Hey, Mel-Bel." She said and let out a light chuckle as she remembered my nickname from high school.
"I just wanted to say.. thank you. Thank you for always being so positive about the negative things. Thank you for making me happy by being my bestfriend through the rough times. Thank you for always cheering me up. Thank you for helping me cope with my anxiety. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for being you. Thank you for giving me a shoulder to cry on when I needed it. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for being here, I truly am going to miss you when you'll be gone." She said to me as she took my hand in hers. I felt a few tears land on my hand. She started to let out quiet sobs. I squeezed her hand lightly, since I couldn't do much more movement or anything.

"Baby, don't cry. THANK YOU for being with me. I'll always be watching you from above. I'll always have a smile on my face and say "That's my bestie" to all the others that will be there." My thoughts spoke.
"She can't hear you. I really wish she could."
"I know that, you dumbass.."

"It will be hard without you. Especially for Grayson, I think." Tessa spoke as she sniffled and wiped away her tears.
"Anyway, I'll go get the boys." She said again and let go of my hand.

¤Grayson's P.O.V¤

Tessa came out of the room after about 5 minutes or so. Me and Ethan were talking about trucks for some reason.
"I need to use the restroom, you can go in now." Tessa spoke softly with a smile. She had glossy eyes. I nodded with a smile and she went to the bathrooms. I took Kiwi in my hands.
"Have any idea why was she crying?" Ethan spoke as we entered the room.
"No clue." I said with a shrug. I then took a seat beside Melanie. I took her hand in mine.
"Hey, princess." I said to her as I admired her features.
"I have Kiwi." I said with a smile. I put Kiwi on one side of the bed. A small smile was visible on Melanie's beautiful face. I smiled to myself as I placed her hand on Kiwi's fur. Her fingers brushed against it, just like mine this morning.
"I know one thing for sure." Ethan spoke, getting my attention. He was sitting on the couch, waiting for Tessa.
"And that is..?" I waited for him to finish the sentence.
"She definentaly isn't going to college." He said with a chuckle. I playfully rolled my eyes at him.
"Shut up, bro." I said to him as I turned back to Melanie.
"I'm back." Tessa's soft voice echoed through the room. I hummed in responce, not turning around.
"You know what's scary?" I asked both of them.
"What?" They both said in usion.
"We're no longer going to have this Little Angel with us after 3 days." I said with a soft sob escaping my lips.
