¤Jane P.O.V¤

"She has 3 weeks.." Grayson spoke with his voice cracking at the end.
"I'm sorry, what?" I asked him with a confused look on my face.
"She has 3 weeks to wake up." Grayson said looking  in my eyes. His eyes turned a dark brown. A very dark brown. It almost looked like he couldn't live without her.
"Can you explain what do you mean by that?" Will spoke after a short silence. Grayson let out a long sigh.
"The doctor said she has 3 weeks to wake up. If she doesn't wake up with-in that time, they are going to unplug every machine that is helping her heart beat and breathe." Grayson said as he shut his eyes as a few tears escaped them.
"No. They can't do this to my little girl!" I half yelled through the whole room.
"Where is the doctor? I have to talk to him." Will said as he stood up. Grayson shrugged his shoulders and took Melanie's hand in his. Will then walked out of the room that we were in. I'm guessing he went to look for the doctor. I turned back to the kids. Lilly had Kiwi in her lap and was petting his head softly. Grayson was holding Melanie's hand. I'm not sure if I was halucinating or what. I saw, with my own eyes, Melanie interlock her fingers with Grayson's. I gasped at the sight.
"Can I have a word with my daughter?" I asked the kids politely. Grayson nodded and gestured for Lilly to come with him and take Kiwi with her.
"We'll be at the small cafe here." Grayson said with a smile as they walked through the door. I sat down in where Grayson was sitting. I sighed and started talking.

¤Melanie P.O.V¤

"Hey, love." I heard the sweet voice that belonged to my lovely mother.
"I saw your little action." She said with a light chuckle escaping her lips. I smiled slightly.
"We really miss you." She said as she took ahold of my hand. I really wondered where my dad was. I heard him walk out of this room like a few minutes ago.
"I really don't want to lose you. So does Grayson, Lilly, your dad, Ethan and Kiwi for crying out loud." She said with a sniffle at the end.
"Just please, build up all of your strenght, which you have a lot in you, and open your eyes. Or, even better, wake up." My mom finished her little speech and kissed the back of my hand. We stayed here, silence filled the room. I tried building up all the strenght I have in me and tried to say something. I finally did it. But instead of me saying something, it came out barely above a whisper.
"Mom." I said. My voice silent. Eyes still closed. Half of my brain was working, the other half wasn't. A slight smile crept onto my face as I hear her gasp at my actions. I then felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I already knew my mom was hugging me. She gives the best hugs. I let out a quiet sob as my face was pressed against her shoulder. I could hear my heartbeat monitor go crazy. It sounded as if it was about to explode. It was beeping uncontrolably. My mom quickly called in the nurses.
"Clear!" One of the nurses shouted. I then felt a huge amount of force being pressed on my chest making me sink in my uncomfortable hospital bed. After a few seconds my brain shut off completely. I was now unconcious.

¤Grayson P.O.V¤

Me and Lilly, and Kiwi, were walking back to Melanie's room. As we reached her floor we saw Will and Jane sitting on the waiting chairs. Jane was crying on Will's shoulder as his arms were securely wrapped around her. We immediatly rushed to them and sat on each side of them. Jane soon calmed down.
"What happened?" I asked her nicely. She looked at me, trying to find the right words to say to me.
"M-Melanie tal-ked." She managed to get out as she immediatly let out a loud sob and put her head in her hands. I rubbed circles on her back and she calmed down a bit.
"What do you mean talked?" I asked her. Joy and sadness filled in my voice.
"She whispered t-to me as I spoke to her. Her h-heartbe-at monitor started going crazy and I-I didn't know what to do-o so I calle-d in the nurses." She said as she looked up at me with tears still falling from her eyes.
"They kicked her out of the room." Will finished for her.
"Did you find the doctor?" I said after a silence to Will.
"Yeah, but when I wanted to talk he said he was "busy". I almost knocked the guy out." Will said with a chuckle at the end and a sigh.
"I just hope she's okay." Lilly spoke as she ran her fingers through Kiwi's soft fur.
"Yeah.." I said as a tear rolled down my cheek.
