¤Grayson's P.O.V¤

It's currently 7 a.m. I am up and ready to head to the airport. I was wearing dark blue jeans, a grey sweatshirt, my dark blue snapback and my black nikes. I dropped Kiwi off to Tessa and Ethan and waited for my uber to arrive. A few minutes laterz the uber arrived and I hopped in it. I gave the driver the adress of the airport and we sped off.

Lilly : wya?
Me : omw. About 4 mins away.
Lilly : aight'. We r about to land.
Me : k, cya later aligator ✌

After that little convo I locked my phone and slid it in my pocket. About 3-4 minutes later, my uber driver told me we're here. I thanked him for the ride and payed the right amount. I walked in the airport and sat on one of the chairs. There were a small group of girls sitting beside me and giggling. I turned to them and one of them screamed making me chuckle.
"Are you seriously Grayson Dolan?" One of the girls asked me. I smiled and turned to them.
"Indeed I am." I said to them. All three of them gasped and giggled.
"Can we take pictures?" The other one asked.
"Of course." I said and we stood up. One of the girls came up to me while the other one was holding her phone.
"What's your name?" I asked her as she looked at me.
"Oh, m-my name's Jacky." She said and sent me a sweet smile.
"Well, nice to meet you Jacky. Now let's take the pictures." I said with a chuckle. She nodded and we took a couple photos. With the rest of them, we just took some selfies.
"It was lovely meeting you, but I've gotta go. Love you guys." I said to them and we hugged one last time. Meeting fans always cheers me up, I love their positivity.
"Bailey!" I heard someone scream my middle name. Gosh I hate it.. I turned around and saw Cameron running straight to me.
"Hey Cam!" I said as I engulfed her in a bear hug.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her. I then released her and looked behind her. Mom and dad were also here.
"Hi guys!" I said as I hugged each one of them.
"Lilly and her parents will come after a few minutes. They just got through security." My mom explained to me. I nodded and gave her a smile.
"How has she been, Gray?" Cameron asked me as she patted my shoulder. I sighed and looked at her.
"She's been alright. She has one day left." I said as Melanie's family started walking towards us.
"Hello Lisa, Sean and dear Cameron." Jane greeted my family. She turned to me with already glossy eyes. She pulled me into a tight hug with a sob escaping her lips.
"Be strong." I whispered to her. I felt her nod against my chest. We then released eachother. I hugged Lilly and firmly shook Will's hand.
"Let's get going to the hospital." Lilly said. We all agreed and ordered two ubers. One for me, Cam and Lilly, the other one for the parents.

*At the hospital*

We all arrived to the hospital and went straight Melanie's room. I went in first and took one rose out and threw it away. One rose left. Tomorrow my Rose will be gone.
"Is there anymore information from the doctor?" Jane asked as she looked at Melanie.
"Not really. He just told us, that her time will be up tomorrow at about 3 p.m." I replied to Jane's question, she gave me a simple nod.
"Do you have any plans for the funeral?" Cameron asked Melanie's parents after a few minute silence.
"We are thinking that the funeral should be in New Jersey. Since she has lived there all her life practically." Will anwsered Cameron's question. Both mine and Melanie's parents were making plans for the funeral and what not. I just sat on the couch with Tessa, Ethan and Lilly. Kiwi was resting on Lilly's lap while she ruffled his soft fur. I had a conversation with Tessa and Ethan here and there. The room was basically filled with people. Jane and Lisa walked up to all of us, catching our attention.
"We've decided that the funeral will be in New Jersey on Monday. Sounds good, kids?" My mom said in a soft tone.
"Sounds nice." I replied with a weak smile. They both nodded and went back to their husbands and Cameron.
"How are you doing, Gray?" Lilly asked me.
"I'm doing fine." I sent her a reassuring smile. She nodded. I wanted to start a conversation with her so she wouldn't feel alone.
"So, any boys?" I asked her. She hesitated but looked at me, blushing. I smiled.
"Oooh, tell me everything!" I told her in a high pitched making her giggle. Tessa and Ethan have left to the cafe a few minutes ago.
"Okay, but promise me that you won't tell anyone. No one really knows." She said sternly while sticking out her pinky. I looked at it and chuckled. I interlaced our pinky's.
"I promise. Pinky promise." I said in a serious tone. She giggled and we let go.
"Now tell mee." I whined. She turned to me, Kiwi still on her lap.
"Well, his name is Blake." She said and blushed at his name.
"Such a basic name." I said and she punched my shoulder. I chuckled and put my hand on my shoulder, acting like it hurts.
"I'm kidding, not really." I mumbled the last part and she giggled.
"Shut up.." She said and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Tell me more!" I begged her while she giggled again.
"Okay, chill. He is honestly so kind, sweet, friendly, nice. Basically perfect." She said and slumped back on the couch.
"Is he hot though?" I asked her. She looked at me and bursted into a fit of quiet laughter.
"Duuh." She said when she calmed down.
"I approve." I said and nodded. She showed me a thumbs up.
"I knew you would. I just wish I would have told Melanie." She said as she frowned.
"Well, kiddo, there's still time. She can still hear." I said, trying to light up the mood. Her frown turned upside down.
"We're going to the cafe for a little. You kids want anything?" Jane asked me and Lilly.
"Can you bring me back a chocolate chip latte?" Lilly asked her mom, she nodded. I didn't want anything so they all just left.
"Now is your chance to tell her." I said as I pushed her off of the couch.
"Okay, okay. I will." She said. I smiled as she walked to Melanie's bed.

¤Melanie's P.O.V¤

"Hey sis." Lilly's voice echoed through my ears. I miss her so much.
"I have to tell you some news." She said and I could sense the nerviousness in her soft voice.
"I have a boyfriend." She quickly blurted out and I heard her slap her hand over her mouth. This girl didn't even tell me she was seeing a boy. How dare she?! I felt as a smile crept upon my face.
"Oh thank god you're happy. I thought you would wake up and be like "Why didn't you tell me earlier?"" She said and giggled.
"I am terrified that you'll be gone in less than 24 hours." She said as she took ahold of my cold hand. The mood swings.
"What will I do without you? Who will I facetime when I need advice on what to wear for school? Who will I call through tears when I'll need advice in school drama?" She asked herself all of those questions.
"Who am I going to call "Best sister ever?" She asked again. Wait, you've  never called me that.
"Life will be so strange without having you by my side." She said and let go of my hand.
"Just know, that I'm going to miss you so so so so so freacking much. I love you and always will. Probably more than Grayson, but whatever." She finished her speach.
"That's a lie!" Grayson's voice then echoed through the room making Lilly giggle.
"Whatever you say." Lilly said to Grayson and they both chuckled. These are the two people I have and will love the most.
