¤Grayson's P.O.V¤

It was currently 2.56 p.m. We were all standing in her hospital room.
"The doctor should be here any minute." Tessa reassured us for the 4th time. I sent her a nod and looked back at Melanie. Today is the day. Today I will lose the love of my life. I'll lose my Guardian Angel. It will all come to an end when the doctor gets here. I am dreading that moment, of seeing how he just turns off the machines that give Melanie oxygen and let her heart beat. The door opens slightly after the clock hits 3 p.m., revealing Mr. Stalion as it opened wider.
"Hello everyone." He greeted us. We all replied murmuring a silent hello or hey. The doctor walked over to Melanie and examined her facial features. Jane had her hands on her mouth to prevent her from releasing a loud sob when the job is done.
"I know this is going to be a terrible moment for all of you, just as it will for me. I just wanted to say, that I am very sorry for your daughter." He said as he pursed his lips into a straight line. He walked over to the machines. I turned to look at the others for a quick second. Tessa had half of her face burried in Ethan's chest and had tears streaming down her face. Ethan had a few dry tear stains. Jane had tears streaming down her face as well, she was holding Will's hand tightly while the other one was wrapped around Lilly. Will had his lips formed in a straight line, he's a strong man. I looked back at the doctor, his gaze was fixed on me as he waited for me to let him know that the time was right. I looked at Will and he sent me a nod, indicating that the time was right. I let out a sigh and looked back at the doctor. I gave him a slow nod and he sent me weak smile. The doctor walked closer to the machines and Lilly silently gasped.
"I truly am sorry." The doctor said and unplugged the machines and Jane burried face in Will's chest as she cried. Tessa did the same with Ethan.
"Stay strong." The doctor said and walked out. Lilly fell to the ground and started crying. Jane and Will comforted her and calmed her down a little bit. Kiwi was in my embrace as he looked around the room, he didn't really know what was going on. I walked over to Melanie's lifeless body. I just stood beside the bed, tears filling my eyes. I took her pale hand in mine. I slightly shivered from the cold radiating off of her body. She gave my hand one last and weak squeeze. Her chest suddenly stopped rising up and down. Her cold fingers let go of my hand. I gave it one last and light squeeze before letting go. I shut my eyes as all the tears started flowing out of them and started streaming down my cheeks like rivers. I placed Kiwi on the floor and walked over to the last flower that was in the vase. I took the flower in my hand. I enhaled the amazing scent that it had.
"I love you." I whispered to myself and threw out the last Rose. I closed my eyes and let out a deep sigh. I turned around and walked back to the others. Tessa turned to me and pulled me into a tight hug.
"I'm here for you." She said as we hugged. I placed my head on hers and hugged her back tightly. As we released, I gave her a weak smile. She patted my shoulder and walked out. Ethan did the same a few seconds later.
"We should get going." Jane said to all of us and we agreed. They made their way to the door and Cameron stopped in her tracks when everyone left.
"Aren't you coming?" She asked me as she turned around.
"I'm coming, just need to take it all in, I guess." I explained to her. She gave me a frown and walked towards me. She hugged me and I hugged my sister back.
"It's going to be okay. Everyone has their time taken away. Don't let it affect you too much." She said as she pulled out of the hug. I nodded and she sent me a reassuring smile.
"We'll be waiting in the car." She said, took Kiwi in her arms and walked out. I turned back to Melanie's now pale body. The tips of her fingers were slightly purple. A few tears dropped down on the hospital floor as I examined her lifeless body.
"I'm going to miss you, princess. Love you." I said and walked out. Didn't want to keep them waiting.

*Back at the hotel*

Melanie's and I's parents have booked seperate hotel rooms in another hotel. I walked in my hotel room and went straight towards something comfortable to lay on. I stumbled upon the couch and plopped down. Kiwi was with Tessa and Ethan, so didn't have to worry about that lil' guy. I heard the front door open and light footsteps coming towards the living room.
"Yo, we can keep Kiwi with us over-night." Tessa's soft voice echoed through the living room. I hummed in responce.
"What was that?" She asked. I lifted my head up.
"That would be nice." I said to her. She sent me a sweet smile and sat down on the couch beside me.
"So, I may or may not have something for you." She said in more of a questioning tone. I gave her a confused look as I sat criss-cross from her.
"What is it?" I asked her and she handed me a light blue envilope.
"Who is it from?" I asked her again as I examined the envilope.
"M-Melanie." She blurted out and I widened my eyes.
"How did you get this from Melanie?" I asked her again.
"I promise you, I'm not crazy. Melanie visited me in my dreams. We talked and stuff and then she handed me this. She said to give you this when she'll be gone. And I don't know how, but it was in my hand when I woke up." She explained everything quickly to me. I slowly nodded my head.
"Well, I'll leave you to it. Goodnight, Gray." She said and got up. She petted the top of my head and walked back to her and Ethan's room. I slowly started opening the envilope. A letter was placed in there, neatly. I took the letter out of the envilope and placed the envilope on the coffee table. The front of the letter said..

"To my smol' lil' bean ♡"
