Grayson P.O.V

Me and Melanie were heading to the beach, hand-in-hand. Melanie was walking Kiwi with her free hand. I was carrying our stuff. The beach wasn't far away from our house. After about a  15 minute walk, we got to our destination.
"It's beautiful." Melanie said as she looked at the waves crashing onto the shore and the sun setting. I nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, but not as beautiful as you." I said and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She giggled.
"You're so cheesy." She said to me and booped my nose.
"But you loooove it." I said and put  our stuff down on the sand.
"Lucky." I heard her say followed by a giggle. I chuckled to myself. I then got off my hoodie and made my way towards the water.

Melanie P.O.V

Sweet Baby Jesus. He took of his hoodie, revealing his perfectly toned abs. I couldn't help but stare at his perfect body. How can God create someone this ho-
"When you stop drooling over me, let me know." He said and laughed. I blushed cause he caught me staring. I took Kiwi's leash off.
"What are you gonna do about it?" I said to him and snapped my fingers. He chuckled.
"This." He said and threw me on his shoulder. Kiwi started barking at Grayson. I started laughing. He was heading towards the clear water.
"Stop, stop, stop. Don't you dare throw me in the water!" I said to him as I started slapping his bare back. It didn't affect him at all.
"What are you gonna do about it?" He said mimicking my voice and chuckling.
"Just let me take off the hoodie." I said to him and playfully rolled my eyes. He then hesitated but put me down on the sand. I gave him a smile when I felt my feet land on the ground. I then ran back to our stuff as fast as I could, laughing histericaly. He caught up to me.
"You know, for a 18 year old, you sure act like you're 5." He said to me and laughed.
"But you looove it." I said to him and giggled.
"I love your laugh." He said to me and hugged me. I hugged him back.
"So we aren't going swimming?" I said, but it came out muffled since my face was pressed against his chest. He let go of me.
"I'll be waiting in the water." He said and winked, Kiwi followed him. I nodded and smiled. He then went over to the water. I quickly took of my hoodie and shorts and ran after him. Lucky for me, he still wasn't in the water. As soon as I reached him, I jumped on his back. He caught me and chuckled. Kiwi bolted to the water but immediatly stopped when he reached the front of it. Grayson then started running into the water which made me laugh. I jumped off his back and went over to Kiwi. Grayson reached the water and started walking deeper.
"It's okay, bud." I said to Kiwi and gave him a little push. He walked into the water and started swimming. I started clapping at how good he was. Kiwi then returned back to the shore and ran over to our stuff. Kiwi shook the water out of his body and sat beside our clothes, waiting for us to return. I felt a light pull on my waist backwards, meaning Grayson pulled me into the water with him. Myy back hit the water and a few seconds later we were under the water. I could hear Grayson's laughter coming up from the top of the water. I surfaced and started coughing. He stopped laughing and looked at me with concern.
"Babe, are you ok?" He asked me.
"Do I look okay?" I said with a little bit of sass.
"I'm sorry." He said to me and put his hand on my shoulder. I started laughing.
"Gotcha Bitch!" I said and splashed him with water. He let out a sigh of relief.
"Don't ever scare me like that." He said with a chuckle and wrapped his arms around me.
"That's what you get for basically drowning me." I said with a giggle.
"Sorry 'bout that." He said and chuckled.
"It's all good." I said and gave him a kiss. He quickly kissed back but I pulled away and looked at him with an innocent smile.
"I want ice cream." I said to him and started to walk out of the water.
"I'm down." He said, caught up to me and grabbed my hand. We then made our way to our clothes and dried off a bit. We put on our clothes as we finished drying off. Kiwi was still sitting and waiting for us.
"Do you want ice cream or froyo?" Grayson said as he put the leash on Kiwi. Kiwi licked Grayson's arm.
"Well, now that you mentioned froyo.." I said to him, a light giggle escaping my mouth.
"Froyo it is." He said and wit that we made our way to Frozen Yogurt.

*At the froyo shop*

"What flavour are you getting?" I asked him as I put Kiwi down on the floor and grabbed a cup for the frozen yogurt.
"I don't really know." He said, scratching his chin as if he's thinking while looking through the options.
"Welp, I don't know about you, but I'm getting mint chocolate chip." I said to him as I went over to that flavour. I filled almost half of my cup, it was a large, but not all of it cause I know I wouldn't be able to eat it all. Grayson chuckled at me.
"Well, I'm getting strawberry and banana flavour." He said to me and put in his froyo.
"So basic." I said to him and giggled.
"Oh you know it." He said and flipped his imaginary hair that doesn't exist. I laughed at him. We then payed for our froyo's, well Grayson payed cause he didn't let me, and went home. Eating, talking and enjoying eachother's company.

*At home*

We reached our house's front porch. The door was slightly open.
"Hey babe." I said to Grayson in a terrified tone. He was taking Kiwi's leash off.
"Yeah?" He replied when he took Kiwi's leash off. Kiwi then ran inside the house.
"Why is the door open?" He said before I could. I shrugged.
"We locked it." He said to me in a questioning tone. I slowly nodded my head. We then heard Kiwi barking inside.
"What the-" I was saying but Grayson then raced inside the house.
"Hey babe." I heard a female voice from the living room. Kiwi was still barking. Babe?
