Ethan P.O.V

Me and Tessa were walking to the fair, hand in hand.
"Do you think they'll like me?" Tessa spoke.
"Honestly, I don't know." I said and chuckled. Tessa lightly smacked my arm.
"I'm serious." She said.
"Don't worry about it, you'll be fine." I said and kissed her cheek. She smiled at me. A few minutes later we have arrived at our destination.
Grayson and Melanie were already there. No surprise.

Melanie P.O.V

"Which ride do we go to first?" I asked Grayson like a 5 year old  child as I looked at all the rides.
"I don't know." He said.
"Ethan is here!" I whisper-yelled to him as I pointed to Ethan. He was with a very beautiful girl. She looked awfully familiar.
"Hey guys!" Ethan said to me and Grayson.
"This is Tessa, Tessa this is Grayson and Melanie." Ethan introduced us.
"Nice to meet you Tessa." Grayson said as he and Tessa shook hands.
"Hey Gray- OMG is that really you Melanie?" Tessa literally screamed in our faces.
"Tessa Brooks?" I said in confusion.
"Yeah! Melanie Rose?" She asked me.
"Yeah! Oh my, how have you been girl! Look at you!" She said as I did a little spin.
"Look at me? Look at you!" I said the same to her.
"Okay, enough let's get to the rides." Grayson and Ethan said almost in usion.
"Fine." I said. I picked up Kiwi in my hands.
"We should go to the scary maze first." Grayson suggested while taking my free hand in his again.
"Sounds fun." Ethan said. Tessa had a terrified look all over her face.
"Not a fan of jumpscares." She stated.
"Oh c'mon, it can't be that bad." I said to her and took her hand, dragging her, Ethan and Grayson towards the scary maze.

*After the scary maze*

"Finally, made it out!" Ethan yelled while running through the exit.
"Finally, you made it." I said while scraching Kiwi's head. I finished the maze first cause they were all so slow.
"It wasn't that bad at all." Grayson said as he came to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"I think I peed my pants a little." Tessa said. We all started laughing including herself.
"Imma go get us some snacks. What do you guys want?" I asked them all as I took my hoodie out of my backpack and put it on. I also grabbed my wallet. Grayson took Kiwi in his hands then.
"I'm going with you." Tessa said and linked our arms.
"You two be good." I said sternly and pointed a finger at both of them.
"Yes mom." They said in usion. We all laughed and me and Tessa headed to the pretzel stand.
"Hi, can we have 4 pretzels?" Tessa kindly asked the man.
"Coming right up." The man behind the stand said. We smiled. I then payed for the snacks and we made our way back to our boys.
"So how have you been?" I asked Tessa.
"I'm doing great. I'm a social media influencer. How about you? You and Grayson are soo cute!" She said to me all at once.
"I've been doing well. Thank you." I said to her. We finally reached the twins. That blonde bitch from the other day was all over Grayson, Ethan just stood there akwardly with Kiwi in his hands. Kiwi just gave her a very angry look.
"Not today, bitch." I murmured under my breath.
"Sorry, what?" Tessa asked. I stormed towards them. That bitch's back was facing me. Perfect. She had her hand on Grayson's chest. He didn't do shit about it. I can't believe him. I pulled the blonde's hair back and she almost fell to the ground.
"What do you think you are doing?" Her voice almost made my ears bleed.
"What do you think  you are doing? Putting your dirty hands on my boyfriend." I spat in her face.
"Mel, chill." Grayson said to me. I was taken aback by his words.
"No, Grayson, I will not chill. She's doing this for the second time. I don't like when someone tries to take what's mine. And you aren't doing shit about it. I can't believe you right now." I said it all in his face, making sure that blonde bitch hears it all.

Grayson P.O.V

"No, Grayson, I will not chill. She's doing this for the second time. I don't like when someone tries to take what's mine. And you aren't doing shit about it. I can't believe you right now." She said it all in my and Meredith's face. Aww, she called me her's. That's not the point. I didn't know what to say. I stood silent. Melanie let out a puff of air, rolled her eyes and took Kiwi out of Ethan's hands. She then turned around and walked away. Tessa and Ethan gave me confused looks and shook their head. They then ran after Melanie.
"Finally that bitch is gone." Meredith said to me.
"No. You are the real bitch here. You already ruined my life enough. Just fuck off!" I screamed in her face causing me to get a few strange looks from other people. I just rolled my eyes and ran to the direction that they all went to. I looked all over for them but didn't find them. Melanie is in safe hands. I then gave up and just made my way home through the long path.

Melanie P.O.V

I had tears streaming down my face making my hoodie wet. I was balling my eyes out on the couch. Tessa was beside me, patting my back and making me relax a bit. Ethan sat on the other side of the couch with Kiwi on his lap and a tub of ice cream in his hands. He said the ice cream was for me but he ended up eating it himself.
"How could he do this to me?" I asked Tessa softly while wipping the tears away with my sleeves.
"I don't know, babe, I really don't know." She said to me as she pulled me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her tightly.
"I already said, he isn't interested in her." Ethan said as he took another spoon of ice cream.
"Then why didn't he do anything when she was all over him? Why didn't he just smack away her arm? Why?" I asked him, repeating the why over and over until more tears rolled  down my cheeks.
"Maybe he's falling for her?" Ethan said to me. I looked up at him with more tears forming in my eyes.
"What a great thing to say." I said to him and rolled my eyes. Tessa gave him a glare and he just shrugged.
"I was just joking." He said and put his arms up in defense.
"This isn't a time to joke." Tessa said to him.
"Thank you!" I said to her. Soon the door opened meaning Grayson has came home.
"I can't deal with this." I said and got up. I made my way upstairs and into my room, Kiwi following me. I plopped down on my bed, face first, and let out a long, deep sigh. I then turned around and sat up. I looked at my wall of pictures. There were a lot of polaroid pictures of me and Grayson. Kissing, hugging, laughing and much more. Tears were threatening to escape my eyes. I let them. I then looked down at my hand. The promise ring. I started to roll it around my finger and took it off. Was it all a lie? I put the ring on my nightstand and layed back on the bed. Kiwi jumped onto the bed and into my arms. I put him beside me and got under the covers. I then drifted off to sleep with the same thought spinning back and forth in my mind. Was it all a lie?
