The Wilsons house was huge! I stepped out of the sleek black car, gaping at the mansion that stood proudly before me, It looked like something out of a fairytale. It was encased in a large area, surrounded by a tall, protective white brick wall, concealing the house from outsiders prying eyes.

The first thing I noticed was the tall, tinted glass windows that decorated the sides of the house, it was at least a couple stories high. Trimmed hedges surrounded the house, presenting it in all it's galore.

My mouth hung in awe as I came to the realisation that this was my new home.

"Come on Riley," Robert called turning back towards me.

I followed Mr. Wilson as he walked up the large marble staircase that led to the front door, Kendra stayed back in the car, typing importantly on her phone not caring that we had arrived.

"I want you meet my son and daughter,"

My mouth fell open, "You have kids?" I exclaimed, shocked.

"Yeah, didn't Officer Jim tell you that?" He asked concerned.

I shook my head, he most certainly did not.

He has children. They could either be sweet young toddlers that won't annoy the hell out of me, or they could be complete and utter brats. I was hoping for the first one.

If they were anything like their mother I might just run away for good.

The inside was just as impressive as the outside, a grande staircase greeted me at the entrance, it led up to the second floor. It's railing wooden with traditional designs carved into the sides. It was very Victorian looking, everything was dainty and fragile. The floors marble and crystal clean, a grande clock sitting in the corner. Now comparing this to Rick's old shack...

Robert led me to what looked like the living room and it certainly did not fail to impress me even more. He indicated me to sit on one of the white leather couches and I did cautiously.

I felt extremely out of place, like a peasant in a royal's home.

"I'm going to go fetch the Kids, so just wait here alright?" He said, winking at me,

He was about to walk out of the room when he stopped short and turned around again, "Oh and Riley?"

"Hm?"

"Please, relax deary." He chuckled, "You're apart of this family now."

And with that he walked off, leaving me behind, fidgeting with my leather jacket on the sofa.

"Now you kids be nice, she's gone through a lot and I don't want any of you to make her uncomfortable alright?" I heard Roberts quiet voice mumble just outside the door.

I continued to fidget, feeling nervous.

"Yes papa," A familiar voice replied. My blood ran cold and my heartbeat quickened.

Oh God please no. It can't be! There's no freakin' way on this earth....

Yep. I was right,  "Riley, I hope I didn't keep you waiting, meet my son Carlos and my daughter Cherry." Robert introduced, grinning widely.

I winced at the preppy blonde that stood in front of me.

Cherry looked at me, her face softened her mouth turned up into a gentle smile. Gone was the bitchy, popular girl that threatened my life on the first day of school. Instead, a girl stood who looked as uncomfortable as I did.

My eyes slid from Cherry's to the boy that stood beside her. He was a tall lanky boy who looked around my age. His skin was pale and his curly black hair swept over his eyes. There was something eerie about him, his eyes looking everywhere in the room but at me. He must be anxious about a stranger in their home. I could understand that.
