Chapter 15 

3 years later. . 

I was teary-eyed while watching her perform on stage. Katabi ko sila Anne, Billy at Vhong sa front row habang pinapanood ang performance ni Kia. We started to cheer even louder nung nag-solo na siya. Para kaming mga cheerleaders ni Anne. I'm just so proud of my baby girl. After ng performance, nagpalakpakan naman ang mga audience at napatayo din ako.

"Uy girl, talagang nagmana sayo yang anak mo. Ballerina eh." bulong sakin ni Anne habang nagpapalakpakan kaming lahat sa performance. I just smiled at her in return.

"Mami! Mami!" tumakbo papunta sakin si Kia and I carried her, "Mami! Did you see me there?" she pointed at the stage where she performed her ballet.

"Yes, I did. You were so good Baby. Mami is so proud of you! We're all so proud of you! Diba Ninang Anne?" I kissed her nose and hugged her.

"Yes baby girl! You're like the mini version of your Mami." sabi ni Anne and pinched Kia's cheek.

"Hihihih, thank you Ninang Anne! Where's Dada?" she asked, looking around. 

"Dada just had a phone call, he will be back."

"Dada!!" sigaw ni Kia, napalingon ako sa likod and found Vice with Vhong and Billy, they were walking towards us.

"Hey there Princess!" nagpapakarga si Kia kaya binigay ko naman siya kay Vice and he carried her.

"Dada, did you see me? I danced!" she said proudly, she was so excited to tell her Dad about the performance.

"Yes, baby. Everyone was clapping for you. Ang galing galing talaga ng prinsesa ko!" Vhong and Billy congratulated her too. Kumpleto ang barkada ngayon, parang ang tagal na din kasi since nakumpleto kaming lima.

"We should celebrate! Yes, we should! For Kia. Treat ko na!" sabi ni Vice. Agad naman nag agree sila Vhong, Billy at Anne. Ako lang ang hindi nagsalita.

"K?" he turned to me.

"Sure." maikling sagot ko. He smiled at me before turning to them again.

We're seated in a table for six, Kia was sitting between me and Vice. The three were just the opposite of us.

"Order na kayo." Vice started, "Baby, what do you want to eat?" tanong ni Vice kay Kia na busy sa pagtitingin sa menu.

"Lasagna!" she said.

"Okay, we'll order you lasagna. Kayo Anning?" 

After taking our orders, nagkwentuhan naman kami. Actually, nakikinig lang ako, I didn't really talk much. Kia is busy playing games on my phone, Vice was catching up with things, kinukwento niya mga pinagkakaabalahan niya lately. Lagi ko naman nakikita sila Anne, Vhong at Billy kaya I'm always updated. Sobrang rare lang kasi na sumama si Vice sa mga ganitong gatherings. Ngayon lang siya pumunta for Kia. 

Looking at him now, parang wala pa rin nagbago. He still looks the same, less feminine lang today siguro kasi for Kia. Pero naka-piluka pa rin ang bakla at naka very light make-up. Why am I still head over heels for this man? I would steal glances at him when he's not looking. Hindi din masyadong obvious since siya naman yung nagkukwento, so all eyes were on him but I would look somewhere else from time to time.

Na-interrupt ang pagkukwento niya ng biglang tumunog ang phone niya. He checked his phone and a smile formed in his lips. Nag-iba ang mood ko bigla.

"Excuse me, I have to answer this call." he said and left. Vhong caught me rolling my eyes after he left and just smirked at me.

After lunch, sinulit pa talaga ni Vice ang time niya with us and Kia. Pinasyal namin si Kia and Vice bought her new toys.
