Punctuation use is almost impossible to perfect. The proper use of punctuation is a key skill in writing that I myself have yet to master. If you're fairly new to novel writing or you've just finished drafting a story, it's highly probable that you'll have punctuation errors all over your book.
We are all prone to committing errors. Don't feel bad if your story has punctuation mistakes. We've all been there. I'm a self-proclaimed Grammar Nazi but I myself am guilty of committing punctuation mistakes every now and then. I know for a fact and from personal experience that most stories on Wattpad have poorly used punctuation and spelling.
Not a big deal, though.
Relax. We're all just amateurs here trying to get better at writing, right? Sure.
But I simply cannot tolerate lazy writers. I just can't.
I try sometimes, and only if the plot is just that good -- which almost never happens. If I'm three chapters in and still there are punctuation errors all over the place, then I'm out, bïtches!
I won't even bother skimming through another chapter; my poor eyes just hurt from reading through the repetitive punctuation errors on EVERY SINGLE PAGE of your story.
