After Years ~ Stray Kids Lee Felix ✔

Chapter 1

Nari's POV

"Okay okay, Jeongin, calm down!" I said as I rushed downstairs.

"Ah noona, you always make us late!" my little brother, Jeongin, frowned.

"Sorry! We won't be late if we run to school," I smiled sheepishly.

"Tsk why do we have to run in this early morning?" he crossed his arms.

"It's okay, it's good to exercise?" I grinned.

"I mean, it's still seven in the morning," he said calmly.

I widened my eyes, "What?! We still have one more hour! Then why did you keep on yelling to me to hurry up?!"

"Well, it's your fault to believe me," he smirked and opened the front door.

"Wait how did you even--"

"I changed your alarm, noona. So we won't be late again, no more detentions," he said then went out.

"YAH YANG JEONGIN!!!" I yelled and was about to chase him when he slammed the door close right in front of my face.

"What's with your face?" my best friend, Hyunjin asked as he leaned in to me. We're currently in our class.

"You know why," I said, showing my poker face then looked outside the window.

He grinned and leaned back to his seat, "Jeongin again huh?"

I hummed as response while watching the students went inside the school, some with happy faces, some with poker faces.

Just then, I saw someone familiar walked through the school gate. My eyes widned in shock. That blonde hair, that earing, I know it so well. I shook my head.

No no, it's definitely not him. He can't be back.

"Yah Yang Nari!" someone called, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I turned and looked at Hyunjin who looked pissed off.

"I called you like millions of times!" he said then noticed my expression, "Huh what happened to you? Did you just see a ghost?"

He stood up from his seat and looked outside the window then widened his eyes, "Oh? Isn't that Felix?"

"He's back?" he asked as he shifted his gaze to me while I just stared blankly at the table in front of me.

"Gosh why is it so hard to talk to you," he sulked and went back to his seat.

The first three classes started and I couldn't concentrate at all. Finally, it's lunch time when I saw Chan running towards me with mixed expressions. He looked shock, happy and worry at the same time.

"Nelle!!" he called.  (a/n. Just incase if you don't read the author's note, Nelle is her english name.)

"He's back! Felix!" he shouted, pointing outside the class.

"He's really back?" I whispered.

"Nelle, you okay? You want to see him?" he asked, looking so worried.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"Outside, in front of the lockers. But there are so many girls that surround him," he said.

"It's starting again. My nightmare," I said.

Chan looked panick after looking at my expression, "He might not have the same feelings as before, Nelle. Maybe after these 3 years, his feelings have gone."

I stood up and headed outside, "I know Felix so well, Chan. He can't forget his feelings that easy."

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"I want to see him," I replied and went outside.

There, I saw a bunch of girls were busy screaming in front of the lockers. I scoffed and started to walk pass them while crossing my arms. I looked at Felix and he was smiling so wide.

Looks like he enjoyed it huh?

Just when I was about to look away, our eyes met. I could see his eyes widened when he saw me. His smile went wider but instantly faded after I gave him a glare.

I immediately walked away, leaving him and those crazy fangirls. I sighed frustratedly as I remembered all my past with him again. To make it clear, you won't mind a little bit of my story time, right?

Me and Felix have been friends since we were born. We always played together until grade 5, when he started to grow up and many girls were starting to have a crush on him.

Knowing that I was his bestfriend, they all asked me to be friends with them. But I knew they're just using me to get to Felix so I never wanted to be friends with anyone. Then because of that, they started to hate me.

It got worse when Felix started to like me in grade 7 more than a friend. He kept on chasing me, hugging me in front of public. Even though I never have the same feelings for him, he never stop. All his fangirls started to get jealous over me and they bullied me.

Felix doesn't know about it, even until now. I always lied to him. I told him that I fought with some girls because they were so annoying. What he knows is, the girls were hating me. He told me not to worry about it since he will always protect me. But how can he even protect me when he doesn't know about it?

I tried my best not to leave him but I just can't. It's so hard to stay with him. I kept on finding reasons so I couldn't meet him. That's when I met my current bestfriend, Hyunjin and also my other close friends, Chan, Minho, Jisung, Changbin, Seungmin and Woojin. They are all so nice to me and we became close. They knew all my problems with Felix.

All the pain was lifted up when Felix decided to move to Australia in grade 9, to his hometown. Yes, we both lived in Australia until grade 2 when we moved to Korea.

But now.. he's back? Out of thousands of schools here, why this school?

Without realizing, I reached the school's rooftop. The wind was blowing and I started to shiver. It's currently winter.

I was about to turn back when I felt someone put a school uniform jacket on me. I looked back and saw Felix standing there, with his hands inside the pockets.

To be honest, I miss him. I really really miss him that I want to hug him so tight. But I can't give hopes to him. Plus, maybe if his feelings are already gone, I don't want his feelings to be back.

I removed the jacket from my shoulders and shoved it to him, "I don't need your jacket."

He took it and placed it on my shoulders again, "Wear it, you're shivering."

He only used the school's shirt, didn't he feel cold?

"I don't want it," I said and forced him to take it.

"Nari," he called but I was just giving him a glare.

He looked pissed, "We haven't seen each other for three years and now, you're giving me that damn glare?"

"Then what do you want me to do?"

"Hug me and say that you miss me."

"You must be out of your mind," I said and was about to leave when he held my wrist tightly.

"I know you miss me, Nelle," he said.

"Never call me Nelle again, and no I don't. I was so happy in these two years until you came," I coldly said. "I hope you already forget the feelings you have for me."

"You really are something. I told you that I will always love you. What's wrong with that?! Is it because of the girls that hate you? I told you that you don't have to think about that!!" he said and yelled at the end.

I nodded sarcastically, "Yea you simply said that with your mouth but you never even once, know truly about it."
