Chapter 18

Felix's POV

"Sh*t," I muttered under my breath.

I looked at him and he was just staring at me, blankly. I expected him to say some words but he didn't.

I cleared my throat and avoided his gaze. "Nari told me that you're here for monthly check up."

"Yeah, and do you mind explaining why you're here?" he finally spoke up.

I smiled nervously, "I'm also here for monthly check up."

He nodded sarcastically, "Ahh, with that hospital gown?"

I facepalmed. I totally forgot about that.

"Y--yes, of course!"

He sighed, "I'm not dumb, Felix. Tell me what actually happened. You're with Nari this whole time, right?"

I gulped. "I don't know."

"Fine, then I'm gonna ask Nari by myself," he said and was about to walk when I grabbed his wrist.

"Don't," I said. "I'll tell you, but don't tell this to anyone, even Nari."

"Okay."

Then we went to the nearest blocks of chairs and sat there. I began to explain what happened from the beginning until the end, and Jisung always had that serious expression on his face.

"Yeah, so that's what happened," I ended.

"So Nari lied to me too?" he asked.

"What?"

"She told me she's here for monthly check-up, but she's here to take care of you?"

"Yes."

He nodded and forced a smile. "Okay then. Get well soon, Felix."

"You too, get well soon," I said as we got up from our seats.

Just when he was about to go, I had the urge to ask him something. "Yah Jisung-ah."

He gave me a questioning look so I continued, "Are you sure you're not sick or something?"

"No. Why would you ask that?" he raised an eyebrow.

"I mean, you've always been a hardworker since you're a kid, and you've never dropped like that. So I thought it's kinda weird that you blacked out just because you're tired," I explained. His expression changed, and somehow I could feel that he was hiding something from me.

"I don't know, it just happened like that. I didn't sleep for days. See, look at my eyebags," he pointed at his eyes.

"Don't try to hide anything from me, Han Jisung. I know you so well," I said firmly.

"I'm not hiding anything from you, and besides, you just hid something big from me and I didn't complain."

I sighed, "Fine, get well soon."

"You too."

Nari's POV

Two weeks had passed since Felix was dismissed from the hospital. We were just having our normal school life. We've told the others about what happened. At first, they were mad because we didn't tell them, especially Hyunjin, he even ignored me for a day. But soon, they started to pity us for what happened so everything was going fine.

Jisung was acting a bit weird in this past few days though. Like sometimes he would just go out of the class while limping, telling us that he just sprained his legs. At first, we believed him but it's been happening very often.
