Felix's POV

I was thinking of skipping the first three classes because I really wasn't in the mood to study.

After Nari left me alone, I decided to go to the gym to release my stress. Grabbing a basketball, I started to dribble and shoot, but I didn't score. I tried for five more times, but I failed.

"What happen to you, Felix? You're usually very good at it," I heard a voice echoed through the whole gym.

I turned and saw Chan with his hands inside his pockets, "I don't know, hyung."

He approached me then took the ball from me. After dribbling several times, he shot and instantly scored.

He smirked and handed me back the ball, "Is it because of Nelle?"

I sighed and tried to shoot another one but failed, "Yes."

"When are you gonna give up on her? I thought you moved on last time?" he sighed.

"I tried, but I can't. I went out with that girl and I can't even once not having a thought of Nari," I said. "And that girl turns out to be a b*tch."

"If you want to get her, then don't act clingy towards her in front of public. She doesn't like it."

"I know. But I can't help it. I'll get her in my own way," I said and threw the ball one more time that finally scored.

"Yah let's go," Chan said.

"Where?" I asked and put the ball on the floor.

"You're ditching classes right? Let's sneak out of this school," he smirked.

"Cool," I smirked too.

Nari's POV

"Hm yea, bye," I said as I ended the call from my mom.

Wait, should I even call her my 'mom'? She's basically my step-mother and what she does is only telling me to do this and that, even Jeongin hates her.

Now, she told me to buy her a necklace with my own money? Is she insane?! She's the one who's going to her friend's wedding, not me. Why am I the one who's buying her a freakin' necklace?

After putting my phone back in the locker, I was about to go to class when I heard girls laughters. It came from the bathroom area.

Being the curious person I am, I slowly walked closer to the source of the sound and I immediately balled my fist after I saw a horrible scene in front of the bathroom.

"Don't touch him," I said in a low voice.

It earned the girls' attention then they looked at me with their teasing eyes, "Why? Is he your boyfriend?"

"HE'S MY BROTHER!!" I yelled, couldn't hold my anger.

There were two boys holding Jeongin's arms tightly while the girls just now were kicking and punching him hardly. His face was full of bruises and scars.

"Oohh so this little cute boy is your brother, Nari?" one of them pouted and caressed Jeongin's face which made him growled in anger.

I stepped closer and slapped her hand away from his face, "I said, DON'T TOUCH HIM!"

"If you don't want me to touch him, then don't touch my Felix," she said.

I frowned, "What?"

She motioned her friends and one of them showed me a video of me talking with Felix at the backyard just now.

"What's your right for asking me not to touch him? And take a note, I was NOT TOUCHING him. I was just talking to him," I said, glaring at her.

"Really?" she gasped and pretended to be shocked. "Then don't talk to him."

"I'm asking you one more time, fake face. What's your right to order me like that?"

"What?! Fake face?!" she shrieked.

I sighed frutratedly, "Answer me!"

But before she answered, she kicked hard Jeongin's stomach, making him groaned in pain.

"STOP!!" I yelled and pushed her away, making my way to Jeongin. But then she pulled my hair, making me stumbled back.

"Jeonginie, my little cutie. Don't blame me for this, okay? Look, I tried my best not to hit you but, your sister only thinks about herself. She doesn't care about you, so hate her instead," she said in a digusting voice while pouting.

She then turned her attention to me, "And you, ugly face. Stay away from my Felix." She motioned her friends and they all went away, leaving me and Jeongin alone.

"Jeongin-ah! Are you okay?" I asked and ran to him.

"I'm fine, noona," he smiled and I hugged him, tears were rolling down my cheek.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," I whispered but he shook his head slowly. "Noona, it's not your fault."

I released the hug, "Let's go to clinic, okay?"

He nodded and he sling his arm around my shoulder. Slowly, we walked to the clinic and the nurse immediately stood up, "What happen?"

"Someone bullied him," I replied and rested him on the bed.

The nurse sighed and shook her head while grabbing a jar of ointment, "Kids these days."

I looked at my watch and widened my eyes, "Oh sh*t, I'm late!"

"No swearing!" the nurse yelled behind the curtain.

"Jeongin-ah!" I called and he hummed in response. "I'm sorry but I have to go, I have presentation and it will be marked for my report card."

"Okay," he weakly replied.

Finally I head to my class with a heavy heart. I wanted to be in the clinic and stayed with Jeongin, but if I don't do this presentation, my report card will be marked 0.

I opened the door and Ms. Kim greeted me, "Good afternoon, Ms. Nari. You're late." Ms. Kim is a really nice teacher. She's still so young and she hasn't get married yet. She is so caring and she always understands students.

I bowed, "I'm sorry. I needed to go to the clinic just now."

"You're hurt?" she asked.

I shook my head and smiled, "No, my brother is sick."

"Okay then, go back to your seat," she said and I was about to take a step forward when I saw Felix was sitting next to my seat, looking at me with a playful smirk. My smile instantly faded.

Ms. Kim noticed my sudden changed expression so she said, "Oh he's a new student, Lee Felix. He moved from the other class because there was a mistake before, he should be in our class."

I looked at him with a poker face before saying, "Oh." I head to my seat which was beside the window. I could see Hyunjin looking at me with a worried face so I gave him a little assuring smile before I opened my notebook to review what I needed to say for presentation.

"Yah," Felix called but I just ignored him.

"Nelle-- I mean, Nari," he called again then sighed. "Now you're ignoring me?"

I could feel his eyes piercing on me but I didn't care.

---

"Good job, class! Don't forget that tomorrow will be a late start!" Ms. Kim reminded and the whole class was off to go.

I grabbed my bag and was about to leave when Felix grabbed my wrist. I sighed and tried to release his grip but he tightened it.

"Are you just going to be like this the whole time? Ignoring me? That makes you feel happy?" he asked.

I forced myself to release his grip even though it hurt a bit and luckily I suceeded. Then I immediately went out of the class. After passing through the school gate, I stopped my track to wipe my tears and muttered, "I'm sorry, Felix."
