Nari's POV

It's been a week since I last talked to Felix. As for now, I can only see his last message for me when he said thank you with a heart emoji. I got so touched, I wanted to run and hug him, but I just couldn't. Alicia kept on sticking on Felix, following him everywhere. He seemed bothered, but weirdly, he didn't do anything about it.

"Nari-ah!"

I turned back and saw Jisung waving at me. He scanned me from up to down and raised an eyebrow, "You haven't change? It's PE class right?"

"Yeah, I'm changing now," I smiled, showing him my small bag.

"Okay, be quick! I'm waiting outside!" he smiled and I nodded.

I went inside the bathroom and got changed. Right after I went outside the cubicle, I saw Alicia. She was doing her make-up in front of the mirror. Who does a heavy make up right before PE? Only Alicia and her gang.

I awkwardly washed my hands beside her. I tried to avoid her gaze, but I could feel she kept on staring at me. "Yah."

I looked at her and forced a smile, "Yes?"

She smirked, "It seems like, you are not talking with Felix anymore?"

My smile faded, "Why are you asking about that?"

"You know, I'm happy. I think I'm way closer with Felix now, I hope you can support us when we date," she smiled, more like an evil smile.

My heart crushed into pieces after hearing that. Yeah, Felix is way closer with her than me now. He interacts with her every day, while he doesn't even bother to know if I'm here or not.

I smiled awkwardly, "O--of course, I will support you both."

"Good," she tapped on my shoulder and went out of the bathroom.

My hands were shaking. I just stared at my reflection. Am I jealous? Do I really like Felix? Why does it hurt so much?

I took a deep breath and went out. The moment I opened the door, Jisung was standing in front of me, looking worried. "Are you okay? I saw Alicia coming out of the bathroom just now."

I smiled, "I'm okay. Now let's go, we might be late."

"You don't look fine though," he muttered but I could still hear him.

Suddenly, I felt my hand being held. I looked down and saw him intertwining his hand with mine. I looked up to him and saw him smiling. "Let's go."

---

"Okay guys, we're going to play volley ball for today," our PE teacher, Mr. Kwon announced.

"Wait sir, the school's old volley balls have been thrown away, and the new ones haven't arrived here. So we don't have volley balls," our class leader informed.

"Really? That doesn't make sense though. Then let's just play basketball, the teams are the same like last month. You all still remember, right?"

"Yes!" everyone answered in unison.

"Sir, where am I supposed to be?" Alicia asked.

"Hm, you can go to the blue team," Mr. Kwon said.

My heart beat stopped again. Blue team's leader is Felix, and what's worse is that I'm in the red team.

"Okay, let's start in three, two, one!"

The boys started to make moves, scoring for their own teams. After a while, our points were 18 – 18, and our teacher said that we should just ended the first round when one team reached 20 points.

I didn't do much, I only passed the ball to the boys, and scored two scores. But suddenly, someone passed the ball to me. It was just a few more steps until I reached the ring, when someone pushed me hard to the ground with his/her body.

I closed my eyes, ready to feel the impact, but I felt nothing. I opened my eyes, and saw Felix. His arms were wrapping around my waist, prevented me from falling.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

I gulped, "I'm.. okay.."

He smiled even though his smile was barely seen. He helped me to get up and he made his way to Alicia.

"Alicia, I don't think that's needed," Felix said, his eyes were cold.

"Wh--what? I'm not doing that on purpose," she stuttered while fidgeting her fingers.

"Then apologize."

She widened her eyes, "But Felix, we're in one team, w--why should I--"

"Apologize. Now," he demanded.

Alicia looked at me, her eyes were full of hate for me. I just stared at her back without any expression.

"I'm sorry, Yang Nari," she said. She looked like she would kill me anytime soon.

"It's okay," I replied.

"Now shall we continue the game?" Mr. Kwon asked and we all nodded.

The game started again, I tried to keep my attention at Alicia, because she really looked like she's gonna hurt me anytime soon. But again, someone called my name to pass me the ball, and that's when Alicia pushed my chest so hard. This time she didn't do it with her body. Last time she only purposely bumped into me, but now she clearly pushed me with both of her hands.

I tried to keep my balance, but the force she gave was too big. I stumbled back and I realized behind me was a bench because I was at the edge of the court. I fell on my hands, and I purposely hurt them, because if I didn't, my head would hit the edge of the bench and it might cause death for me.

I looked at my hands. They were bleeding so badly. I think my skin was thorn. It hurts, it hurts too much. Then I realized that my knees were hurt too when I felt a sharp pain on them.

"NELLE!!"

I looked up and saw Felix, looking so panicked after he saw my blood everywhere. He knelt down and checked my condition. While he was checking, his sweat dripped on my wound, making me flinched. He seemed to realized it, and said a quick sorry.

Everyone started to surround me. Hyunjin ran to me and shouted, "OH GOSH!! NARI, ARE YOU OKAY?!"

"You can see that she's not okay," Jisung who was beside him replied. He was staring blankly at me.

"WHO DARES TO PUSH NARI?! I'LL PUSH YOU BACK!!" Hyunjin yelled.

"Me," Alicia stepped closer to us and looked at Hyunjin. "Why?"

Felix balled his fist and stood up. His eyes were burning out of anger.

"Didn't I warn you just now?" he asked.

She gasped and smiled fakingly, "Really? Forgive me then."

Felix's breath started to become uneasy. I could see he was tightening his fist. I was worried that he might hurt her.

Why did he suddenly care about me again?

"Guys!" Hyunjin called, which made me feel a little relieved. "Don't fight here. Nari is hurt."

Felix adverted his gaze to me again. To my surprise, he lifted me up bridal style. But before he walked out of the crowd, I saw Jisung. He was staring at me, with his teary eyes.

Author's Note:
Yeay new update! Last week was a really busy week for me. I got school trip for 4 nights and 5 days, so there's no time for me to update, and right after the trip, the next day, I attended my friend's sweet 17 party until late night. I hope this chapter is interesting enough for you. ❤
