Chapter 5

Nari's POV

"Yah Nari-ah!!" someone called and I immediately looked back to see Hyunjin waving at me.

He ran to me and smiled, "You're early today!"

"Yea," I said and put my bag in my locker. "Did you see Jeongin by the way?"

Hyunjin looked at me with a confused expression, "No. I thought you're with him?"

I shook my head, "He left me, I don't know where he is."

"Just check his class, maybe he's there," he suggested and I nodded.

I took out my books and was about to go into my class when I heard a bunch of girls were screaming and squealing.

I rolled my eyes and muttered under my breath, "Stupid."

"What? I'm stupid?" Hyunjin asked.

"No, not you," I said and took a few steps to my classroom before I was stopped again.

"Yah! Isn't that Jeongin?" Hyunjin pointed at the crowd with those girls.

I widened my eyes when I saw Jeongin was standing beside Felix, enjoying the situation.

I balled my fist, "Why is that boy even--"

"Calm down, Nelle," I heard a voice from behind.

I looked back and saw Chan looking at me with a worried face.

"That boy is seriously asking me to yell at him," I said.

"Let's just ignore it," Chan said and pushed me gently into my class.

We went in the class and I saw Jisung sitting alone in the middle of the class, reading a book. He looks so cute with that pair of round glasses.

"Woah, Han Jisung is reading a book!" Hyunjin clapped, making Jisung realized our existence.

Hyunjin went to approach him and playfully tried to read what Jisung was reading, "What book is that?"

Jisung looked panicked as he immediately closed the book and hid it under the table, "Y--you don't have to know."

"Ah come on!" Hyunjin whined and tried to read the title.

After a minute, Hyunjin managed to see it and raised an eyebrow, "There's something connected to love."

I raised an eyebrow too, suddenly felt curious about it, "Love?"

He looked flustered, "G--guys don't think any weird things about it, okay? I just--"

"Our Jisung is in love?!" Chan exclaimed and went to hug Jisung. "Congratulations!"

"With who?" I joked.

"Uh yeah, uhm someone," he avoided eye contact with me.

"Really? So you admit it?" Hyunjin asked.

"Maybe, kind of," he replied.

"How can you not be sure of it?" Chan asked.

"Yea you're weird," Hyunjin said.

"Guys, let's just stop it. He doesn't feel comfortable talking about it," I said and received a glare from Chan and Hyunjin.

"Okay fine I'm going back to my class," Chan said and Hyunjin went back to his seat.

"Thanks Nari," Jisung smiled.

"No problem," I smiled back.

"YAH JEONGIN!!" I yelled as soon as I saw him after school ended in our house.
