Chapter 2

Nari's POV

"What do you mean by that?" he frowned.

"You don't have to know about it. But one thing, if you love me, please stay away from me. Don't hug me and don't talk to me in front of your fangirls," I said and went to leave him.

I ran downstairs to grab my lunch and joined my friends. They all looked at me with their worried faces and I forced a smile, "I'm okay, guys."

"Uhm but you don't look okay?" Jisung said.

"Yea, it's clearly written on your face that you're not okay. Did you just meet Felix?" Hyunjin asked, earning a smack from Changbin.

"You dumbass," Changbin glared as Hyunjin rubbed his forehead, muttering the word 'why' for several times.

"Nari, remember that we'll always be there for you okay?" Minho smiled and I nodded.

I took a spoonfull of rice and stuffed it to my mouth. Just then, someone knocked on our table. I looked up and saw Felix smirking, looking down at me.

"Hey Nari! It's been sooo long since we met! Let's hangout later after school!" he shouted out loud, making everyone's attention went on us.

I choked on my food, "What?"

"I said, let's hangout after school. Do you know how much I miss you?" he smiled.

The girls started to whiper to one another. They were throwing glares at me.

Felix leaned down and whispered to my ear, "I'm sorry, Nari. I think that I should do this." He left after that, making me coughed continuously.

Seungmin handed me a glass of water and I immediately gulped down all the water.

"He hasn't change," Woojin said.

"He did it on purpose, to make everyone knows about us," I said, feeling anger inside my body.

"I'll go talk to him," Changbin said as he stood up and went away.

Felix's POV

I was arranging some books in my locker when someone held my shoulder tightly, and forced me to turn 90° to look at that person.

"Changbin hyung?"

He looked at me for a few seconds before he punched my right cheek. I looked at him, shock.

"Are you out of your mind?!" he yelled.

I touched the corner of my lips and saw blood on my finger. I smirked, "Me? Out of my mind?"

"Can you just leave Nari alone? You know well that if you approach her, the girls will started to bul-- I mean, they will start to hate her again!"

I scoffed, "I was just trying to be friends with her but all she did was acting cold towards me."

"She's just trying to avoid the whole school's attention okay?" he said with his shaky voice.

"Hyung, answer me," I said. "If you love someone, can you let that person go?"

He sighed, "I know so well about your feelings, Felix. But you being close with her, will just hurt her."

"If you know so well about it, then let me be. I'm just an ordinary guy that tries hard to get love from the girl he loves the most," I said and closed my locker.

"Felix--"

He was about to say something but I already walked away. I couldn't stand this anymore. Why can't I love her? It's not like a forbidden love.
