Nari's POV
My thoughts were not anywhere but the incident that happened yesterday. It made no sense at all. After spending my night thinking about it, I've come to a conclusion that Felix was just acting in front of me. There was no way he could forget about Alicia when he hated her so much. I mean his stomach was the one being hurt, not his head.
I was on my way to school, but I wasn't paying attention to the road ahead of me which resulted me to bump into someone. Without looking up, I muttered 'sorry' before walking away again.
"Yang Nari," a deep voice called me, and I knew exactly who that was.
I turned back and saw him looking at me with a cold pair of eyes, but ironically he had that wide smile on his face.
"What, Felix?" I asked, not taking any interest in him because the incident yesterday flashed into my mind again when I saw him.
"Since we didn't go for the date yesterday, let's go after school today!" he beamed.
I rolled my eyes. "No."
His expression changed and he whined . "Ahh why~~"
"First of all, who ditched the date yesterday and went with another girl instead? Second, why did you suddenly act so nice in front of Alicia? Third, I completely forgot about the date and I'm not planning to go with you again." I blurted everything out.
He looked at me in disbelieve and soon a smirk appeared on his handsome face. "You're jealous?"
"What-"
"I went with Alicia and left you alone. You're mad because of that?"
I frowned, "Nonsense! Of course not!"
He grinned, and each second his grin was becoming wider and wider.
"Aish," I muttered and was about to leave him when he clung his arm to my shoulders.
"Yah don't leave me alone. Let's go to school together!" He cheerfully said, earning a poker face from me.
---
"Oh the btch is here," I muttered under my breath when I saw Alicia walking towards us, more to Felix, with the 'innocent' smile of hers.
The heck, we just arrived at school and she just had to ruin my day.
"Hi Felix!" she said happily once she arrived in front of us, ignoring my existence completely.
Felix smiled back. "Hi Alicia! How's your morning?"
I rolled my eyes.
Since when Felix asked this kind of stuffs?
"It's amazing because I'm talking with you right now," she blushed.
Ew, gross. I think I'll puke anytime soon.
Felix just laughed and he looked at me, noticing my annoyed expression.
"Hey, you okay?" he asked with a cheeky smile.
Alicia's attention went to me after Felix asked that.
"Oh, Nari is here! Sorry I didn't see you," she smiled fakingly.
Btch, I'm not a tiny ant. I'm even taller than you and you can't see me?
"It's fine," I forced a small smile.
"Hey, do you mind if I take your Felix for a while?" she asked. "I have to talk to him."
"Sure," I smiled wider, making sure that it was fake enough for her to notice. "And he's not mine by the way, we're not dating. We're friends."
"Ah glad to hear that, because if you guys are dating then I won't have a chance," she chuckled and finally walked away with Felix who was surprisingly quiet the moment I had a conversation with Alicia.
The heck happened to her?! Yesterday she said she was 'sad' because we're not dating and now she's saying that she's glad? And before these weird things happened, she was a complete evil witch to me. Does she have a multiple personalities or what?
I sighed, my head started to hurt thinking about it. I finally shrugged it off and walked in to my class.
"NARI! NARI! NARI!" I jumped when Hyunjin suddenly appeared in front of my face as soon as I stepped my foot in the classroom.
I gave him an annoyed expression. "What?"
"Did you hear about the news?" he asked with a very excited tone.
"Huh? What news?" I raised an eyebrow.
"THE STUDENT COUNCILS SAID THAT WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A DANCE COMPETITION FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!" he shouted, couldn't help himself to jump up and down while holding both of my hands.
I widened my eyes. "WHAT?!"
"They said we should go in partners so can you please be my partner? You're the best dancer I've ever known!" he said loudly, earning attentions from a few of our classmates.
I shushed him and told him to sit on our seats first since we were beside each other anyway.
"So? Do you agree?" he asked as soon as my butt made a contact with the chair.
I chuckled. "Gosh, calm down, will you?"
"Ah answer me~" he pouted, trying to do aegyo but sadly, that didn't affect me at all.
"When is it?"
"Next two weeks."
"What type of dance? I need to know about that first." I crossed my arms in front of my chest.
"Anything! Anything you want!" he smiled.
After a moment of thinking, I finally agreed because, why not? Hyunjin was also the best dancer I've ever known and I like his dance style. Besides, he's also my best friend so we could make a good team work.
"Fine," I said.
"What? Did you just agree to be my dance partner?" he asked, making sure that he was hearing the right thing.
"What? Is it weird that I agree? Fine then I'll just partner up with someone els--"
"NO NO NO! It's not weird, it's just so rare of you to actually agree with me," he chuckled.
I laughed. "Is it because we always bicker?"
"Yeah, sort of."
We both laughed and finally the teacher came to start our boring lesson that felt like forever.
---
It was freaking 11 p.m. and I heard continuous knocks on my front door. I told Jeongin to open the door since he was basically not doing anything besides playing with his phone at that moment, and I was busy doing my homework at the living room. But of course, Yang Jeongin wouldn't want to listen to me. He didn't even budge to look at me.
I lazily got up from the sofa and opened the door, only to be greeted by the one and only Felix.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, even though I wasn't really curious about it.
"Let me come in first and I'll explain to you," he said, his expression was showing that he was being serious.
I contemplated whether I should let him in or not but guess what? I let him in.
"Who's that, noona?" Jeongin asked, not looking up from his phone.
"Hi Jeongin," Felix greeted.
He paused and looked up to see us, his expression hardened. Since that time when I told him to stay away from Felix, he actually didn't dare to say a single word to Felix again, only at the hospital when Jeongin was dismissed because he only had a slight pain, and decided to visit Felix before going home. That time he was also only saying 'get well soon' then left.
