Chapter 11

Nari's POV

I felt like my whole world just froze. I couldn't stop taking glances at Alicia who was now intertwining her hand with Felix's hand. I could see Felix looked so uncomfortable. My tears were welling up. The thing that I wish would never happen, was finally happening.

"Yah," Hyunjin nudged me. Yeah, he's now my seat-mate.

"There's no use of staying away from him now, she's here anyway," I muttered by myself.

"Huh? By the way, stop looking at them. It will break your heart more."

"I'm not jealous, but I just care about him too much. I don't want him to get hurt," I whispered.

Hyunjin sighed, "You ARE jealous, Nari-ah. I know you care about him, but at the same time you're jealous over them too, especially your relationship with Felix isn't that good now."

The whole group knew about us, since we were both acting very weird. They asked me about it, wait, more into forced me to spill everything, and finally I told them that we're not in a very good relationship. 

"Hwang Hyunjin!" our teacher, Mr. Choi, called, making the both of us flinched. "Stop talking."

"Sir, I'm just trying to calm my friend down," he said, pointing at me with a pleading face.

"What happened to Nari?" Mr. Choi asked as everyone's attention went on me.

I looked down and shook my head.

"See, sir. She's not in a very good condition. May I bring her out for a while?" Hyunjin asked.

"Sure, but don't be too long," Mr. Choi surprisingly agreed.

Hyunjin beamed. He immediately stood up and bowed, "Thank you, sir!"

"Yah, let's go!" he whispered as he bent down.

I slowly stood up, my face was still facing the ground. But I couldn't hold myself and took a last glance at Felix, he was looking at me, but I couldn't read his expression at all. We stared at each other for a while before I closed the door.

"Now, we are free from lessons!" Hyunjin said happily, a bit too loud.

"Shush, someone might hear you," I said without any expression.

He looked at me for a while before he cling his arm on my shoulder, "Aish don't be too sad. I still have a little money left, you want an ice cream?"

"Your treat?" I asked.

"No."

"Then I don't want," I walked away.

"Yah I'm just joking!" he shouted as he chased me. "Why are you so serious?!"

I stopped my track and pouted, "Promise you'll buy me?"

"Aigoo, you must love ice cream so much even in your worst situation huh," he unexpectedly cupped both of my cheeks.

I sulked and pulled his hands away, "Yah what's wrong with you?"

He immediately put on an innocent face as he tilted his head, "Hm? What do you mean?"

I looked at him for a while before walking away, "Let's just buy ice cream."

"Nari-ah~~ Just a little bite~" Hyunjin shook my arm.

He had been following me since we bought the ice cream sandwich. Since he could only buy one with his limited money, and he promised me, so he himself couldn't have it.
