Chapter 2: Encounter

Kazumi's p.o.v:

I look at the person I bumped into and he had heterochromatic eyes, one red and the other yellow/gold. I felt like I was put into a trance at that second but my attention came back when I noticed his red hair. "Gomenasai." It was my fault that I bumped into him so I should probably not get much attention if I apologise. His stony expression did not change as he walked away from me without a word.

When people apologise, you're meant to say something back. Ugh, this guy pisses me off a lot and why are there so many people staring my way. I shoot a glare at them which thankfully helped as they all looked away and continued doing what they were doing before."Kazumi! Why did you run off?" 

"I didn't run away, I was just looking around until I bumped into someone. Do you know who he is?"

 "I asked a couple of people around and they said his name is Akashi Seijuro, heir of the Akashi company but it seems that he doesn't really get along with many people." I stood their confused about all the information going into my head. Akashi company? Well whatever it is, I don't want to hear anymore about that jerk." Let's go to our class Mayu-chan" I said with an innocent smile. I'm not gonna let him ruin my first day just like that.

Mayu's p.o.v:

As we walked down the corridors and past the classes, I could not forget that dark, unwelcoming aura that person emitted and my Baka friend just walking right into him like it was nothing. I'm guessing other people would've been frightened by him and ran away since they're too afraid to even go near him. Even I'd feel nervous if I had bumped into him. "Class 1-A! I found it." Kazumi said. She seems a little too happy and calm than usual which gives me the shivers but it's best that I ignore it.

Almost everyone was inside class after half an hour and all we had to do was wait for sensei  to come. Kazumi stared out of the window in amazement. "You enjoying the view?" I asked as I stared at her while she was gazing outside. "You should have told me to come earlier Mayu-chan."

" I did for a WHOLE YEAR and you finally agreed. Plus, you wouldn't be allowed to come here until you came of age Baka!" She didn't reply but all she did was smile faintly while staring outside. I wonder what goes in that head of hers. She never tells me what she really thinks, she doesn't tell anyone. Even when she and I met as little kids, she would rarely say a thing to anyone and I think it has to do with her past but I don't have the courage to ask her. We all have our dark secrets which is why I don't bother to ask her in case I agitate her by reminding her of something in the past.

Narrator's p.o.v:

As the students were chatting, Mayu introduced herself to other classmates while Kazumi read a book silently. The classroom became silent in a matter of seconds when Akashi Seijuro entered the classroom. Kazumi noticed the sudden quietness and looked up to have made eye contact with him. Without realising, she stared at him in which he had noticed and approached her. "Refrain yourself from staring at me,"he said. Kazumi was pissed off and stood up without hesitation, "Teme, who gave you the authority to order me around," her eyes stared at him with hatred. "I did because I am Absolute", he said as his face neared her causing her to have a faint blush on her cheeks by the sudden closeness which caused her to look away. At that moment, she could feel his hot breath gently touching her skin which gave her confused thoughts and left her speechless. Before anyone could say anything, the teacher had arrived. Everyone sat on their seat and so the lesson began.
