(A/n little Kiyoko Kazumi ^^^)

Kazumi's p.o.v:

Just a normal day of school except I have to hand out papers as the Vice President of the student council. Mayu-chan, Akashi-kun also have to give them out but Mayu-chan decided to split up so we can hand them out faster so right now I'm stuck giving out papers with him.

My job right now is to give them to each class while Akashi-kun holds the stack of papers. "Class 2-A is next", I said as I opened the door to the classroom and bowed to the teacher. When Akashi-kun entered, all eyes were on him, especially the girls.

"Ohayo Akashi-kun", a girl said in which he replied with a nod that somehow got the the girls squealing. Where's my good morning? "Ne, Akashi-kun, are you going to be busy later? You can have lunch with me if you want." Another girl said.

"I...."

"He's busy with his student council duties and basketball so I'm afraid he won't make it", I lashed out annoyed from them constantly talking to him. I left the classroom before my heart would jump out. Why did I say that? Why was I annoyed? I know I get annoyed really easily but it felt different.

"Is it just me or did you get jealous because they were talking to me?" He asked with a smirk on his face. I turned my face away from him feeling it getting hot and replied, "I was not jealous, they just kept fawning over you and didn't say a word to me, that's all."

"But I thought you'd rather not have anyone to talk to you since you prefer to stay in your own bubble?" He replied.

"Even so, don't you think it's rude for someone to talk to a student who entered the class and not the other?" I countered. "Any ways, let's finish with this job so I can get back to my precious books since I'd rather spend more time with it then you."

"Well, what you said in that class is true, I have more work to deal with and so do you. Make sure your in my office when lunch comes and don't forget to remind Mayu." He said as he walked to the next classroom passing me, "I would've declined if you wanted me to." Some part inside of me made me truly happy to hear those words from him but why?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I sat in the classroom bored waiting for everyone to finish their project on their computers. Technology is pretty much my specialty so it took a matter of minutes to finish.
Sensei thought I rushed too much but was surprised to see that I finished my project with the utmost detail. After I finished, Akashi-Kun was done and began reading a book while Mayu-chan was completely confused on what to do.
"Mayu-chan, you're still not done yet? This should be easy for you", I said trying to annoy her, "I almost forgot but you have to go to the student council office to do some work after this."
"I'm afraid I can't do that Kazumi. I have a lot of work to do on this and I'm probably going to have to finish this on my own time. Let Akashi-kun know." She replied.
Wait! That means I'll be alone in that room with him. My conscience is telling me to avoid that situation so that only means one thing to do.
"I can help you finish your work if you want", I insisted.
"No", she said flatly yet seriously.
I sighed and twirled around on my chair while staring at the ceiling. I could feel my eyes getting heavy as I felt myself drifting off to sleep. "Your father and I will always love you."
"I HATE YOU ONEE-CHAN!"
"That aching pain in your heart will fade away."
I felt someone nudging me as my conscience was brought back and I could feel tears at the edge of my eyes but I rubbed them off before I faced whoever tapped me. "Kazumi, you alright? It seemed like you were having a bad dream", Mayu-chan asked.
I shook my head, "I'm fine, there's nothing to worry about! I just had a dream of Ichigo-san chasing me, that's all", I lied as I faked a smile.
"I see," she chuckled, "but you should really go to the student council office. Everyone is gone except me and you." I looked around and she was right so I left the room and made my way to the student council office.
Once I entered, there were two piles that Akashi-kun had on his desk and he was throwing a whole pile away. "What are you throwing away?" I asked curiously.
"Maybe come on time one day if you want me to tell you", he replied flatly. I walked closer to see the pile was of love letters and confessions from people in this school and other schools. I felt really annoyed just seeing them yet sad because of how quickly he's throwing them away without even reading it.
Narrator's p.o.v:
"You're just throwing them away? Aren't you going to at least read them?" Kazumi asked. Akashi glanced at her to see her staring at the letters which brought a faint smirk on to his face. "It doesn't have the least concern of you",he replied with a monotone voice.
"I know but wouldn't you at least read it? People have put all their feelings into those letters for you", she said as if understanding the concept of love.
Akashi chuckled, "then what would you do in my place?"he asked waiting for her opinion, "and give me your honest opinion." Kazumi thought and came to one conclusion in which it made her realise she was no different. "Ermm... I would read it but..."
"But?" He asked with a playful smirk on his face.
"I would probably turn them down. After all, I don't think I would have the right to love someone,"she replied with a faint yet sad smile, "just kidding, I just don't think I'd be able to return the feelings... probably." She said as she gave a fake smile.
Akashi sighed, "since you're late, you'll have extra work you'll have to handle as a punishment while I go handle things with the basketball team now" he said as he stood up and made his way to the door. Kazumi groaned inwards as she felt exhausted from a few countless nights without sleep due to hacking as well as responsibilities as Vice President and manager of the basketball team.
Akashi's p.o.v:
After I finished discussing the terms of basketball with my teammates, I headed back to the student council office before lunch ended. I expected to hear a loud, obnoxious complaint from Kazumi but when I went in, I found her asleep on her desk with all the papers sorted out and finished.
It seems she's been pushing herself so much since she fell asleep in class as well. I grabbed my coat from my chair and placed it on top of her admiring her expressionless face as she slept. I noticed a faint tear gathering up in her eyes and gently wiped it off without waking her up.
 She's the only person I haven't figured out yet and not to mention, when I searched her files, there was no data in it which makes her an enigma that I cannot figure out. Even her true emotions are rarely shown.
A smile crept up on her face as she began drooling on the table. I left the room without making a sound and left her to her dreams.
