Chapter 14: Plan

Akashi's p.o.v:

Kazumi walked towards me but she seemed different all of a sudden compared to how she was before she went outside. She had a sharp glint in her eyes that I've recognised before in my own eyes; the eyes that want to kill.

She swang her right fist towards my face followed by a kick which I managed to dodge both and took a few steps back to distance ourselves.

"What do you think you're doing Kazumi?" I asked confused. Her eyes looked lifeless as she swiftly moved to my way ready to continue the fight. If someone happens to come, she'll probably get into trouble. 

She tried to to trip me by kicking my legs but I managed to jump away however unfazed, she grabbed a hidden knife in her boots and charged at me. 

I quickly moved away from the knife as it was inches away from me and had cut a bit of my hair and twisted her hand so that she'll let go of the knife.

"Is everything alright Sei-kun?" Reo asked coming to our way. I quickly kneed Kazumi in the stomach so she lost consciousness and won't cause a problem.

  "Yes everything is alright, Kazumi just fell asleep. My limo should be here soon so I'll drop her off at her home", I replied.

"Okay, take care", he replied. I headed towards the limo that was already waiting and layed Kazumi's head on my lap in the back seat.

"Take me back to my house", I instructed the driver as he nodded and drove to the direction of my place. Taking Kazumi back to my place will give me the right time to interrogate her and understand her motives.

Looking at her now, it looks as if she's having a nightmare since she is constantly fidgeting on my lap. I guess I still haven't figured her out yet, another piece of the puzzle is missing.

Once we got there, I took her to the guest's room to rest which was next to my room in case she attacks any of the maids or butlers in this house. I went to my room and slept for the night with many unsolved questions in my head that will be answered in the morning.

Kazumi's p.o.v:

I woke up to feel my stomach lightly aching in pain though I can't remember what happened after interhigh. "Where am I?" I asked myself looking around a room that I have never seen before. "Did someone kidnap me?"

"No", a dark voice echoed in the room, "I brought you here." I looked to see Akashi leaning on the wall next the door and arms folded.

"Why? Are your parents alright with it?", I asked.

"My father is at a business trip and my mother," he said as his eyes dropped to the ground, "is not here anymore."

He looked straight up to me, glaring which gave me frightening chills as I've never seen him this angry. "Yesterday....you tried to kill me", he said flatly.

After processing what he said, I sheepishly laughed, "that's a good joke..."

He tossed a knife on the bed to see it was mine that I usually kept in my shoes. "Where did you..."

"You attacked me with it yesterday", he replied.

"I'm sorry Akashi, I can't seem to recall what happened last night. My memories feel rather fuzzy after we won interhigh", I explained.

"What happened after you went out to have some fresh air?" He interrogated.

The only thing I remembered was the harsh pain of the static in my head but you I'm not sure if I should tell him. "If you keep any information out, I'll be sending you to the police station", he said as if reading my mind.

"Well... I remember the static sound in my head hurting my head but before that, I got the feeling someone was watching me from afar," I concluded, "but there were other times before where I didn't know what I was doing at home as if I fell asleep but someone had accessed the internet on my laptop. This all started happening.."

"After the accident", he finished, "well we need to find the person who's been watching you but he's probably keeping at a distance. What we need to do is lure him in."

"How are we going to do that?" I asked curiously.

"Easy, next week there is going to be a festival at the school where anyone can come. That stalker of yours would want to get rid of me seeing that he knows I'm gathering information from the previous attack so he'll have no choice but to get rid of me," he explained, "but there's one problem."

"What is it?" I asked.

"You might attack again which will make things more difficult. From what you said earlier, it seemed as if you were not in control of your body", he replied.

"How about we get Kaoru and Mayu-chan in with the plan, you can trust them", I suggested.

"That's a good idea, they can help with the plan. Lastly, is there any other information you're holding back?" He asked. 

I can't tell him I'm a Black Hacker but it's probably why I'm being stalked. But then again, I promised to him I won't lie. "Kazumi?" He called but I hesitated to say anything.

My phone alerted a message but before I got to see it, my phone began to rang seeing the ID caller was Mayu-chan. She was probably angry that i didn't go see her after the match but she's my one way ticket to avoid this conversation with Akashi.

"Hello?" I said softly.

"Why didn't you pick any of my calls yesterday!" her voice blasted into my ear.

"I kinda fell asleep after we won so I didn't notice", I said sheepishly while scratching the back of my head. 

"Well anyway, Hinako wants to see you and he told me to pick you up anytime today," she explained angrily, "don't think I'll let you out of this one considering you ditched me", and hanged up.

I stared down at my phone and felt a cold shiver run down my back. "Is everything alright Kazumi?" he asked. 

I looked up at him with pleading eyes, "can I stay with you for the day?"

"For what reason?", he asked.

"Well a person I know wants to see me but i don't want to see him", I sulked.

"What's his name?" he replied.

"Hinako Ichigo, he's Mayu-chan's cousin," I said softly, "so can I stay with you for the day?"

"You can but don't expect me to be staying in the house all day where you'll be hiding", he sighed. I nodded my head and he headed to the door.

"Where are you going?" I asked before he left.

"I'll be taking a shower and I'll stop by your room since I have things to do. You can take a shower there," he pointed at the bathroom, "and there are some clothes in the wardrobe."

You let out a huge sigh before heading to the bathroom.
