Narrator's p.o.v:
It has been a few days since Arata had joined the school but he was in class 1-B which was a different class to Kazumi. "School festivals are next week, does anybody have any ideas of what we should do?" Akashi asked the whole class.
"A play!" Someone at the back shouted in which everyone responded with a groan.
"How about a cosplay cafe with all the girls dressed as maids and boys dressed as butlers", a boy suggested.
"Great idea! Looking at girls in maid outfits will make my life complete", a boy whispered to him.
Akashi wrote a few of suggestions that the class agreed which was a cosplay cafe, a haunted house, food stalls and a play but the votes narrowed to the cosplay cafe and the haunted house.
"A cosplay cafe sounds fun but a haunted house is the best to scare the life out of peo0le which I'm good at! Oh, I just can't choose", Kazumi pouted. A few boys noticing her pout directed their gaze at her.
"You should go for the cosplay cafe Kazumi, doesn't dressing up sound fun?" A boy insisted.
"I guess so," she drifted off in thought until a huge grin crept up on her face, "how about we do both so after a good scaring, they'll be hungry for a bit of snacks." Everyone liked the idea of that so agreed on it.
"We'll need to split the class to on which role they'll like to do. Has anyone made their mind?" Akashi asked giving Kazumi a stare to make her mind up quickly before there are no spaces for the haunted house in which he felt was the easiest to do.
"Ummmm..." Kazumi pondered in which everyone were choosing their options till the haunted house was full.
"It seems that the rest who hasn't chosen including me will do the cosplay cafe" Akashi sighed as he gave an angry death glare to Kazumi who didn't realise whereas the class was on the edge of their seats.
After their decision, the class spent the day in getting the festival ready as well as the other classes which gave them the opportunity to roam around the school or visit other classes.
As Kazumi went to fetch a few resources, she spotted Arata heading to the back of the school with three older boys around him, grinning. She let out a huge sigh and followed him but by the time she arrived, older boys were pummelled to the ground.
"Can you stop with the constant fighting, you've been here for only a few days", she sighed blankly staring at him.
"What is your class doing for the festival?" He asked completely ignoring her previous statement.
"A cosplay cafe and a haunted house", she replied flatly.
"That sounds interesting. My class is doing a maze so come and pop by when you have time on the day", he explained. Hearing that, she nodded and dragged the beaten boys to the infirmary.
Kazumi's p.o.v:
On my way there, I saw Akashi coming towards my direction with a rather confused look. "What happened?" He asked looking at the bruised bodies that I was dragging.
"The new boy Arata did this but if anyone tells you why I'm dragging them, it's because I found them unconscious on the ground. I'm meant to be keeping an eye on him so if anyone finds out, I'm in trouble as well." I said.
"Well we have other matters to talk about," he replied as we walked together to the infirmary, "have you explained the plan to Mayu and Kaoru?" I nodded in reply as we made it outside the infirmary.
