Narrator's p.o.v:

It was a warm afternoon and a few people had gone to visit a person in the hospital who had seemed to be unconscious when found the day before by a passing stranger.

The people who had visited her was a red head who brought a few flowers to brighten up the room and a blonde haired girl with a worried expression throughout the journey there.

When they arrived, they found the girl awake and looking better but sorrounded by a few doctors and nurses. Her face brightened up to see the people who had visited her. "Mayu-chan! Akashi! You're here", she chirped happily.

"You must be friends with Kazumi, you should know that she has amnesia and cannot remember what had happened after she had passed out", the doctor explained.

Kazumi overhearing this said, "it's true, I don't remember a thing. I've just been feeling a little dizzy lately."

When the doctors and nurses had left, Kazumi felt irritated in which Akashi and Mayu had noticed. "You feeling alright?" Mayu asked.

"Yeah, it's just that static sound is really annoying me. They should really get that fixed here", she replied.

"What sound?", Mayu replied confusedly, "there is no static sound."

Kazumi chuckled nervously, "maybe I'm feeling a bit tired. You both can go home, I'm sure you have stuff to do."

Mayu and Akashi nodded and left the room but before Akashi left, he took a long stare at Kazumi which made her feel a bit anxious that her crush was not leaving immediately. "Goodnight Kazumi", was all he said before he left.

Kazumi could feel tears build up in her eyes as she covered her face with a pillow and her hands on her ears trying to block out the static sound. The sound felt somewhat familiar but she felt that she was just imagining it.

Kazumi's p.o.v:

A few days had passed and I was admitted from the hospital as my case wasn't so serious so I decided to go to school as usual. I decided to keep the static sound that came every now and then a secret since I don't want anyone to worry about me.

The first place I decided to go was the student council office which I regretted as I found a huge pile of work left on my table. I had the urge to take all those papers and set them on fire but that obviously was not an option.

When I had done the work, I had a sudden urge to go to sleep but resisted it and went to class. My eyelids felt heavy but I fought off the sleep till school finished.

"Mayu-chan, can you let Akashi know that I won't make it to practice. I'm feeling very tired today", I said.

"Sure! Just make sure you rest and don't force yourself to do stuff so much", she replied and I nodded to assure her I won't.

When I got back home, it was 2:58pm I got a text message of my next task for the government. I brought out my laptop and began the task but sudden felt my eyelids shut tight.

'The static won't stop until you finish the job that you were given Kiyoko Kazumi'

I felt a cold shiver as my eyes shot open. 5:30pm. It seems I had quite the long nap but why do I still feel so sleep deprived. The laptop was on my lap but was changed from my task to the Internet.

Did someone touch my laptop while I was asleep? It can't be possible since I'm the only one who lived in this house.

I looked up on the history to see a few things deleted as well as it being hacked so that the information was definitely was deleted. I got up and checked if any security was set off while I was asleep but nothing had been touched.
