Kazumi's p.o.v:
Ever since the encounter with the attackers, everything went back to normal. The only problem was these overwhelming emotions inside me are killing me so I've decided today is the day to confess to Akashi.
Though the only problem is how does one confess to another. "Uuuuh", I groaned in frustration. How stupid can I be? I've gone through worse so stop sulking. You can do it , you can do it, you can do it, you can't do it... Wait! I mean you CAN do it.
"I can do it", I muttered to myself.
"Are you okay today? It seems something is on your mind", Mayu-chan sighed who was beside me closing her book. We were in Rakuzan's library so we kept our voices down."It's nothing really, it's just..." I drifted off.
"Go on, I'm listening"
"Well it's kind of embarrassing," I said twiddling with my fingers looking away from her gaze, "but... I...erm how do I say it?"
"Go on."
"I...erm kinda want to... confess" I whispered the last word but Mayu-chan caught on instantly by seeing how her eyes lit up.
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this!"
"Shhh", a few people around complained as Mayu-chan muttered a little 'sorry'.
"What do you mean by you've been waiting for this?" I asked.
"Well, you see it's been quite obvious or how should I say it? I'm your best friend so obviously I'd realise. The only problem was that I knew you'd deny it no matter what but finally you've told me. So when are you going to confess?"
"Maybe today or... next week or month. I don't know, just thinking about it gets me all nervous", I replied hastily.
"Do it today or you never know, someone might take him away from you before you know it."
"You might be right but what if he refuses? Things will be quite awkward", I sighed.
"Well it's better than keeping you're feelings all bottled up."
"You're right, I'll talk to him", I said and with that the bell rang signalling the end of lunch. Though I went to class, everything went quickly to the point where I was at practice with everyone Akashi.
"Ready for another day Kazu-chan?" Reo asked.
"You bet."
"Kazumi, lets have a match! I need payback for the last match we had", Kotaro insisted.
"Maybe when you've completed all your excersises that Akashi has given you Kotaro." Kotaro walked back to his team with a whine and head sunk.
"When did they start to call you by your first name?" A redhead beside me asked.
"I told them they could during the festival", I replied.
"I see", he replied returning back to his papers he was examining. "Um, Akashi? I-I need to t-talk to you about something after practice."
"That's fine, I'm sure I can spare a little time", he replied which made me lean back in relaxation but lately realising there was no wall behind me. I tumbled to the ground and hurt my back in the process.
Before any of us could say anything, my phone rang a little tune so I got up and went outside as quick as possible. Before I left, I heard him mutter something along the words 'clumsy'.
