Ash's POV
It was after school and Serena still hasn't showed up from wherever she is. I was actually starting to get worried at this point. Serena would've definitely been home by now if she just went somewhere. Plus she wouldn't have missed school. Yeah yeah I know, school on a Saturday. They had to make up for a day we missed. It sucked.

Me and Dawn were walking home and she was crying. "Ash we should've looked for her sooner! Now we don't know where she is and we never did!" Dawn exclaims as the tears stream down her face. "We will find her don't worry." I say reassuring her. She was right, we should've looked earlier.

We walked around town asking if anyone had seen Serena but everyone just shook their head. Dawn falls backwards landing on her back after we asked about every single household in town. "We'll never find her! By now she's probably been taken out of the Region!" Dawn cries angry at herself.

"Dawn we'll find her. Don't worry." I tell her like I did earlier. I was hoping it would calm Dawn down but this time it didn't happen. "No Ash stop it! I knew we should've looked for her this morning!" Dawn shouts at me catching me by surprise. "Dawn listen to me. No one would take Serena for no reason. There's no way anyone would have taken her out of the region or even this town."

Dawn sighs and looks up to me. "Yeah.. I guess.. do you know where else to look?" Dawn asks me hopefully. "No.. I don't.." I reply and Dawn starts to cry again. I sit there thinking of where to look as Dawn has her face in her hands. "Why didn't I go with her.." Dawn whimpers for at least the twelfth time. She was disappointed in herself.

"Hey." Someone whispers from behind us making me and Dawn jump. "Please don't do that!" Dawn exclaims looking at the person. I look behind us with Dawn and the person behind us was wearing a black jacket with the hood over their head covering his or her face. "I'm sorry.. I hear you are looking for a missing girl."

"Yeah we are.. but why do you care?" Dawn snaps angrily at the person. "She's in the south of town. Look for the small single story house with the color white and the roof of a brown color." The person. "How do you know this mister?" Dawn asks with her tears disappearing.

"Best you don't know." He says before disappearing from wherever he came from. "Cmon Dawn. We are going to find Serena." I say grabbing her hand and dragging her off towards the south of Vaniville. It was going to be a long walk.

After about 1 hour of walking we made it to the southern neighborhood of town. We didn't even look here. We should have but I told myself that no one would've taken someone there. The southern neighborhood was the part of the town where the least amount of crimes took place. I guess the crime of kidnapping was done in our neighborhood, but whoever has her is keeping her against her own will which is also a crime.

We also found the house. The front door was unlocked so me and Dawn snuck inside. There was no sound but someone was definitely here. We could here voices yelling and there were beds set up in the living room. Serena had to be here somewhere. "Ash follow the voices.." Dawn whispers walking towards the voices. I nod and follow her.

I get ahead of her when we reach a book shelf. The voices were coming through here. There were two yelling angrily. I slowly push the bookshelf and it opens slightly and I can see a hallway. "This is it.." I whisper to Dawn slowly opening the bookshelf acting like a door. When I get it open I can hear a third very soft voice.

There must be three people that worked together just to kidnap Serena for whatever reason. "That's Rachael.." Dawn whispers narrowing her eyes recognizing one of the voices. Me and Dawn both slowly and quietly walk down the short hallway. There was a door open at the end.

"Serena be my princess!" One of the people say. That one was someone I've never heard. "N..no.." The third voice quietly squeaks out. It was the voice of an angel. It was a beautiful voice. "That's not a kidnapper.. that has to be Serena." I whisper to Dawn and widens her eyes. "Serena can talk?.." she asks me and I shake my head. "Somehow.."

We reach the door and peek inside. Serena was tied up in a cage with two people, a boy and a girl standing over her. "Stop being such a useless Angel Serena!" The boy shouts putting a gag in Serena's mouth. "Okay that's it.." Dawn whispers before she walks into the room. "Why Dawn." I whisper shaking my head.

"Rachael!" Dawn exclaims with her fists clenched. Serena looked over and her eyes widen in fear. She kept shaking her head. "We are going to get you out Serena." Dawn says angrily. Serena kept shaking her head trying to get us to leave. "Pest." Rachael says to Dawn who basically growls at her. "Let me take care of them." The boy says with a smirk.

"No. Let Serena go. She's not worth the trouble." Rachael says with a sigh. "I hate you." Dawn says running up to the cage Serena was in. I see Rachael smirk and start to walk to Dawn who is trying to open the cage. "Dawn look out!" I shout getting a scowl from Rachael. Something in her eyes changed. Her brown eyes had a red hue to them.

Serena was struggling trying to get free. Dawn turns around and Rachael is standing over her. "Get out pest." Rachael says making a fist and trying to hit Dawn. Dawn ducks out of the way and manages to push Rachael. Instead of falling something keeps her up. As Rachael was regaining herself I ran to Dawn and helped her open the cage.

Serena was looking at the ground. A vial like Dawn found earlier was on the ground. I pick it up. "Get them with it?" I ask and Serena nods. "Dawn untie her." I tell her and I walk out. Rachael had regained her balance and ran at me. Before I could get her with the needle on the vial she sends me to the ground with inhuman strength.

Before Rachael can jump on me I pick up the vial and hold the needle towards her. When Rachael jumps she pricks her arm with the needle and she hisses in pain. She collapses next to me writhing in pain and gasping for air. "Dawn?" I ask seeing the boy walk towards me. "I got her. We are fine." Dawn says running out next to me helping Serena walk.

I throw the vial at the boy shattering it. My names Alain by the way!" The boy shouts for some reason. Why would he tell us his name? I run with Dawn while helping Serena run with us. We run and run and Serena is whispering something. We make it out of the house and down the road until we set Serena down. "I..can talk.." Serena says slowly with a soft smile.
