Chapter 10

Rey's p.o.v.

I groan hearing a loud knock on the door, rolling over burying my face in bens side,

"Go away." I grumbled grabbing onto ben tightly causing him to grumble incoherent curses.

The knocking gets louder forcing me to go to the door I pick up a robe on the way and throw it on. I open the door to see a smiling leia staring back at me, my face contorts in confusion

"Good Morning rey do you realize what the time is dear?" She says with a bit of annoyance

" um no was I supposed to" i say with a yawn 

She laughs sarcastically " well yes dear you were supposed to meet me at 8 in my office remember that hmm?"

I place a hand on my head trying to recall her telling me this... oh maker I completely forgot, how did I forget, wasn't I the one who scheduled this?
"I'm really sorry leia I completely forgot, I just was so tired and was relieved to be home I completely forgot, I'll just I'll just wake up ben and we'll get ready."
I put my hand on my door ready to close it and she opens it wider eyeing me suspiciously.

"Rey dear if you would have told me I wouldn't have bothered you I realize your night must have been busy" she smirked

My face turns completely red and I stumble to find the right words" no no it's not like that I'm just tired from my mission you know the mission with your son to make him come home"

She nods slowly "mhm" she smirks at me.

I shake my my head "no leia not not that no, that's not what I meant" even more flustered than before.

I look back to see ben shoot up from the bed, sheets tangled around his ankles causing him to fall
"Rey who who's at the door?" He mumbles

" it's your mum ben." I whisper back to him.

He gets up and unravels the sheets composing himself and walks over to us grabbing a shirt on the way.
"Good morning mother how are you?"

"Just great actually I was just telling Rey here you all are late for our meeting meet me in my office in ten minutes". She closes the door and walks off.

We both look at each other completely mortified at the situation. Now it's time to see what leia has got to say.

We walked in silence to Leias office, I noticed how stiff and uncomfortable he was as he shifted his eyes to every direction of the hallway seeming more melancholy the closer we got to the office. I slid my hand into his and gave it a squeeze, I looked up to see his reaction as he let out a lengthy breath.

"I'm sorry" he whispered

I shook my head with a confused chuckle "what-"
Suddenly everything went blank and it felt as though my whole world had stopped.

I opened my eyes to see I was still in the same hallway but ben was no where to be found, I looked around and began to search for him. I felt a rush of wind pass me causing me to stumble. I looked up to see a little boy with raven hair and a light saber in his hand running down the hallway, I walked towards him and called out to him

"Ben?" I whispered

The little boy barely sparred me a glance but ran off down the hall once more. I followed close behind to see were he was going, why would a little kid be here, where is his mum?

I turned the corner and stopped as he knocked on the door in front of him. A muffled voice allowed him to come in, I stepped closer to get a better look at the situation in front of me.
