(OverTale) Stuck as glue

Chara sighed as she ruffled Frisk's hair and giggled when he grumbled in response. He wrapped his arms around her waist and laid his head on her thighs with his snout close to her slightly round stomach.

"You sure you don't want anything? Water, food, blankets?" Frisk asked concern for the millionth time today. Chara smiled softly at frisk and shook her head.

"Ever since I got pregnant, frisk been too worried." Chara thought as she rubbed her stomach, she heard frisk growled when Asriel passed by to get to the kitchen. "And protective..." she sighed."Mine..." she heard Frisk whispers as he rubbed his cheeks against her belly and planted a kiss. She giggled and rolled her eyes, she remembered she had something to do.

"Frisk?" Frisk shot up his head immediately,"What do you need?" Chara smiled and held his hand, "I really need to do my homework so could you just-" Chara was cut off by Frisk saying, "No." Chara tilted her head and frowns, "Why?"

Frisk softly glares at her, "I don't want you stressing yourself or the baby over a piece of paper with words on it." He planted another kiss in her stomach, "Plus Your doing nothing but being comfortable in my watch." Chara sighed and felt herself getting tired, she let out yawn and was instantly picked up by Frisk who was walking towards their room.

He placed her down into the bed and covered her up with a blanket,"Don't move while I'm getting you a glass of water." Frisk strictly demands and runs out of the room.

Not even a second later he came back with a glass of water in his hand, he placed it next to the nightstand and kissed her forehead, "Goodnight, Tell me immediately if you want something." Chara nodded and frisk closed the door behind him.

As Frisk heard a click he let out and sigh and turned around, he back up against the wall and hissed at the close figure, "w-woah! Just meet me downstairs." Asriel said running downstairs quickly.

As Frisk animal instincts disappeared he looked around, no males were around his and Chara's territory. He took a couple of deep breath and calmed down.

He went downstairs to see a human name Asriel on the couch, "You needed me?" Frisk asked calmly, Asriel face was shock before going neutral, "w-well uh.... geez how do I put this?" Frisk tilted his head and sat down, "well I was wondering... why are you like this?" This caught Frisk off guard, he once again tilted his head to the side a little bit.

"What do you mean?" Frisk asked confused, Asriel fumbled with his fingers and sighed, "why are you so... overprotective? I know Chara is pregnant but your shoving everybody, well almost everybody out." Frisk raised his eyebrows as he realized what he meant, he quickly frowns as the old memories resurfaced quickly in his eyes.

"Sorry... it's a... touchy subject, there's a story about why I am but... I rather forget about it." He rubbed his arms awkwardly and nervously chuckled, Asriel gasped and shook his head, "I'm sooo sorry Frisk! I didn't-" "It's okay Asriel!" He said laughing a bit before smiling softly, "It's okay I'll tell you another time, but for now." He yawns softy And stretched a little bit, "I'm tired, goodnight." He waved and went upstairs towards his room and gently put the blanket around him and hugged Chara's waist as she turned around and hugged him in her sleep.

"Shhh! It's okay faith I'm here! No need to cry!" The little goat rocked his newborn sister gently in his arms, he flinched when he heard another gunshot and shivered when a hard thump hit the floor.

The smaller goat in his arms cried harder as the footsteps approached near the area his was hidden in. He stuffed the smallest into his jacket and held her close to his chest. The big sibling held his breath as the footsteps stopped before hearing sniffing.

He stared at the pile of dust next to him and looked away holding his vomit in. The noise near him huffed and walked away, older sibling sighed and smiled at the sleeping baby before frowning. He peek from his spot and looked around, once it was clear he jumped away from his hiding spot and ran towards the exit of the building, he turned to his right and slid down the grassless hill as it was covered by snow.

As his hoofs touch the ice cover lake he ran towards the mountains, it took nearly the whole day to get there but he lucky made it, the older goat walked into the village without being seen and walked up to a house who had its lights on and jumped up to the porch.

He laid the smaller one near the door and kissed its forehead and covered it with his blue scarf before knocking on the door and running away towards the woods, he smiled when a motherly monster came out and looked around before looking down and holding the small goat, she made eye contact with Frisk when she looked towards the woods.

He smiled letting the tears fall freely as he forced himself to look away and run.
