I walk down a hall till I see the room my test will take place in. I enter the mirrored room and look at myself. My long, blonde hair that is tied up neatly in a braid reaches my knees.

"What a lovely braid."

I swish around and see a man standing there. "Oh sorry, I needed to sit down, didn't I?"

"Yes, but it's alright. Don't worry." The man looks to be about 21. He has pearly white hair with black and red streaks in it. He also looked muscular in his black t-shirt. He must be Dauntless, I thought.

"What's your name? And, are you Dauntless?"

"I'm Kane Ceaser, and yes, I'm from Dauntless," he takes a few strides to reach the dentist-like-chair behind me. "Have a seat please."

"O-Ok..." I lay back on the chair and wait as he connects me to a machine. "What is that for?"

"You sure do ask a lot of questions for Erudite, don't you?"

I blush a little. "Can't help it, I was raised around curiosity." I knew he wasn't going to tell me what the machine does. The Aptitude test administrators never tell you much.

"Don't worry, it'll be over before you know it," Kane gives me a reassuring smile. I return the smile. "Get ready," he hands me a cup with liquid in it. I swallow quickly and close me eyes, as I plunge into darkness.

Here we go, I give my self luck, we can do this.
